"Um... what?" Manon shrugged.

"Her name's Antibug aka Chloe Kurtzberg."

"Does Antibug know I'm a shadow?" He disappeared. Manon scowled.

"Oh Shadow man, come out and play! I'm a talented ventriloquist huh?"

"We shouldn't be wasting our time fighting each other. We have better things to do, remember?"

"This isn't a waste of time. We need some way to know who's superior."

"Some partner you are. I honestly thought we were going to be friends. Ah well. Who needs friends when you can have darkness?" He mumbled something and all the lights went off.

"Where are you partner?" He chuckled.

"In a word, everywhere. I'm everywhere Manon. I'm in your dreams, in your nightmares, I'm over you, I'm under you, I can cut your black heart in two right now. I'm a shadow demon. I should have done it a long time ago. I let you in but you broke mine in half. Maybe I should return the favour."

"C-Chris?" She felt around for a lightswitch.

"You'll never find it. No one will ever find you. No one will hear your scream... I could do anything to you. Anything I wanted. They wouldn't have to know- SHUT UP!" His voice bounced off the walls. "I'm sorry. He- he seems harmless but believe me- just- just-"

She clutched one of the dolls.

The lights came back on. She let out a sigh of relief and glanced at the Evillustrator. He had drawn a light switch for her. No point looking for one. Shadow winced.

"Aww, let me have my fun woman." She chuckled nervously and dropped both villains back into the box. She switched on the television. The Mayor was still in front of his building, trying to calm everyone down at the press conference.

"Fun hmm?" She ignored the chills she got when she looked at him. She was slightly afraid of him. She wasn't sure what Manon had done to hurt him but she found herself feeling slightly guilty. "Shadow, are you alright partner?"

"Yep. Let's go." He held her waist and teleported onto the Mayor's limo. People started running. "Wanna see who can cause more chaos?"

"You really wanna play that game? I've got villains on my side."

"I've got shadows." She flew up with the box of dolls in her hands.

"It's not a competition partner!" He sniggered.

"All I'm hearing is-" he aimed his torchlight at the shadows of a few citizens. The shadows rose up and cheered for him.

Shadow Man, you're so amazing!

She shuddered. It felt unnatural watching them take physical form. Like the undead rising from the grave. They sounded like ghouls.

"And that's not all, watch!" He aimed the torchlight once again. The shadows turned into different creatures. The citizens ran from their shadows, scared to death. "They can run but they'll never be free. Those are their worst fears. And the shadows won't stop chasing them cause, well, they're their shadows."

"Not bad. Let's see, which villain should I use? Hmm... I'm gonna have to buy some more of those plushies."

Or you can make them yourself...

What?

Don't bother. Use what you have right now, I have a surprise for you when we meet villaino-et-villaino.

Um... okay?

"Is that Papillon?"

"Yep."

"Tell her your powers are weak." She glared at him and grabbed Ladybug, Chat Noir, The Bubbler and Lady Wifi from the box. They all came to her almost immediately.

"You know I could take their miraculouses right now if I wanted to."

"But..."

"I wanna gloat first. Admit it Shadow Man, I was right and you were wrong." He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah... That's great and all but the rest of the heroes are still out there." She shrugged.

"I doubt it. Have a feeling that some of my villains might be heroes as well. But I'll have to let them detransform. Can't wait to see their secret identities after all these years-"

"Not so fast you two." Steel Peacock stood on a building with a dramatic pose. Shadow rolled his eyes and aimed his torchlight at her. She dodged. He scowled.

"Do me a favour, oh powerful one and keep her still so I can use my powers."

"Kay. But you totally owe me." She grinned evilly.

"Whatever I'll buy you another voodoo doll to play around with. Hurry will ya? She's coming straight for us." She trapped Steel in Ladybug's yoyo with a satisfied smirk.

"Ha! I didn't even need your help. Now make those shadows normal. No need to terrorise those people for no reason." He fumbled with the flashlight, sending each shadow back to their original forms.

"Come on, I thought you said I was gonna have fun."

"You probably scarred those people for life. They might even need therapy."

"Exactly! Fun! Feel my pain you disgusting homo sapiens." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah yeah. You're in therapy. We get it! She feels bad enough as it is." He shrugged.

"The worse Miss Unicorn feels the better I do, right Chris?" He frowned for a second before muttering whatever. The Puppeteer grabbed her Lady WiFi doll, making sure the reveal was broadcasted all over Paris.

"Hey Parisians. We've got good news and bad news! Good news, we won! Yay team or whatever." He sniggered and continued.

"Bad news, we won! We've got Ladybugs, Chat Noir and Steel Peacock here and you'll finally get to see their identities. You're also totally screwed. Ah well. That's life for you." She reached for Ladybug's earrings. He went for Chat Noir's ring.

"What am I, chopped liver?" They both shrugged at Steel Peacock's comment, about to demask the two superheroes.

"It was that easy huh? Figures."

"Mistress, you have to help them! You promised me you weren't evil and you have treated me like a friend. Please don't do this now."

"Oh you kwami of little faith. Why do you doubt me. Nooroo, wings up! Haha. I have a sceptre. Too cool."

"GUYS, WAIT!"
