tears & more tears | Chapter 12

After that night will loves Mike even more but he is worried about how it will be when Mike and him comes back to school again after the weekend.

Will is eating lunch with Joyce and Jonathan. They are eating his favourite food and they are talking about normal stuff so he actually feels really happy.
" so how was the dance" his mom asks and will blushes. He has forgot to tell them about that he went to the dance with Mike.
" it was great" will says quiet and smiles a bit too big.
Jonathan laughs
" and i think i know why" he says.
" did you dance with Mike" Joyce says with a bit of worrie in her voice but she is still smiling.
" yeah" will says and looks at her.
" he was so brave mom, he stood up for us in front of everyone".
" i'm so proud of both of you honey but i don't want you to get in any trouble" she says
" i'll be fine mom" will says and smiles. He really smiles a lot nowdays, it's probably because of Mike.

Later that day the doorbell rings. Will is the closest to the front door so he walks to the door and opens it and he sees a face he never expexted to see. It's Mike and he is crying, has a black eye and his whole body is shaking. Will has never seen Mike this upset.
" Mike what has happened to you" will almost shouts.
But Mike doesn't answer. He just throws himself in wills arms and will holds him so tight.
" my dad..h..he...he knows" Mike sobs.
Will slowly pulls away from the hug and instead takes Mikes hand in his.
Mikes hand is ice cold.
" what did he do to you Mike" will says while looking at Mikes black eye and he tries to act calm but tears are building up in his eyes.
Mike breaks down totaly.
" he told me he hated me, he told me that he hated you. Hated us. He told me that i'm not his son anymore. He screamed at Nancy and Mom when they tried to stop him and then he hit me" Mike says after a while when he has calmed down a bit. He is still a crying mess.
Wills heart breaks and he starts to cry too.
" will what is going on" Joyce shouts from inside the house.
Will don't know what to say.
After a few second Joyce is outside with them and she sees Mikes broken face.
Joyce hugs Mike.
" let's go inside" Joyce says with a soft voice and will really loves his mom.

A few minutes later the three of them are sitting in the sofa. Will has his arms around Mike.
" what happened Mike" Joyce says with a worried voice.
" we were eating lunch and dad said something homophobic as always and this time i couldn't take it so i told him. I told him everything, i told him that i'm in love with will and that i've been for so long" Mike looks down
" and then he started screaming about how much he hated me and that i wasn't his son anymore. He told me that he wished that will didn't come back after that time he went missing. He told me that he wished that both of us were dead"
Mikes voice breaks.
" and i got so angry when he spoke like that about will so i started screaming back and i told him we danced to the slow song at the school dance and i told him about how it feels when i kiss will.  "
Will blushes.
" then mom and Nancy started crying and they told dad to stop but he just became even angrier and then he just punched me right in the face so i just ran out and took my bike and came here" Mike says.
Joyce eyes fills up with tears.
" i think it's best if i call your mom and tells her that you stay here for a while and then we'll see what happen okay?" Joyce says and smiles at Mike. Then she says
" i'm so proud over you Mike"
Then she walks up to the phone and calls Mikes mom.
Mike just stares into the wall in front of him.
" look at me" will whispers
Mike looks at will with pain in his eyes and will can't take it so he just kisses Mike. Its a short kiss but after the kiss Mike smiles a little.
" even at my worst times you still can make me smile byers"
Wills stomach flips. Oh god he love that boy
" i love you mike"
" i love you too and i always will no matter what my father or anyone thinks" Mike says.

( yay a new chapter but pls ignore the mistakes in the text and also i know some things in my fic is unrealistic but i hope you like it anyways )
