Jewel I (In the beginning)

Chapter 15

        After we left The waffle house, Devon and claud wanted to spend more time with us so we decided we would go to thw flee market.

        Everyone liked going i the flee market on Sundays. It was full. We were just going to walk around and talk alittle bit. We had talked enough at breakfast but who ever gets enough of learning new things about people.

        We looked around and Claud brought some cds. I wanted the new August Alsina album, testimony they were selling it for eight dollars. Claud brought it for me. I was just hoping that it wasnt scratched up or anything.

        We looked around for about thirty more minutes. After that, Claud and Devon had some things they had to do so they let us go.

        When we got in Ciroc's Moms car, we were undecided what we wanted to do next. We didnt really wanna go out to where everyone hung out at because we didnt want to run into any enimies.

        We decided that we would go to the movies. Ciroc wanted to see Neighbors, starring Zach Efron and Seth Rogen. She thought that the Previews looked funny.

        We pulled up at the movies after thirty minutes of driving. They were full. A new movie must have just came out. I saw a couple people from school standing around. We got in the snack bar line and brought some popcorn, a soda, and some sour patch kids.

        The movie was just about to start. We picked a seat in the back of the theater.

        The movie was over in less that two hours. It was really funny and everybody was rolling. We started walking out and Ciroc had to use the restroom. We went in the restroom and Ciroc went in a stall. I checked myself out in the mirror then i walked out.

        Some guys were standing outside the males restroom door beating on it and rapping. I watched as the security guard fussed at them for making alot of noise.

        I felt a tap on my shoulder so i turn around only to see Elijah standing behind me.

        "So we meet again miss jaja." said Elijah. with a smile on his face showing off his precious dimple.

        "I guess so." i smiled back.

        "So you here alone?"

        "No. My friend Ciroc is in the lady's room."

        "Oh true. So what you been up to? How you been."

        "Boy dont act like you aint just see me yestetday."

       "That dont mean i cant ask how you been. I saw you leaving the party last night. You looked like you were in a hurry."

        "Oh i didnt know you was gone be there."

        "I try to turn up any time i can."

        "And me too." Said a girl walking up and standing beside him. She was the same height as me. She was brown skinned with long dark brown hair that hung to the middle of her back. She wore, a crop top, high waist ripped acid washed jeans  and Jordan's. She had on burgundy lipstick and she had her belly pierced.

        "And you are?" I asked with an attitude.

        "Ej sister, Renee He aint tell you bout me? You must be Ja ja." she laughed.

        I looked at Elijah with my mouth open. I couldnt help but laugh. "Im sorry. He didnt. And its Jewel."

        "I know. I was just messing with you."

        "Whats going in over here?" Asked Ciroc.

        "Look who i ran into. This his sister Renee."

        "Hi." Ciroc waved. "nice to meet you and Nice to see you again."

        "Well we need to be going. We have a couple things we need to do before i take her back to moms for dinner. So maybe i could have your number this time?"Said Elijah.

        "Is that a question or a statement?" i asked.

        "Its an order." he replied.

        "Oh snap. Controlling. I hear that. If i was you i would give him those digits." Ciroc nudged me with her elbow.

        "Well. I guess i could make an acception."

        I pulled out a pen and paper and wrote my name and number on it. "I better be getting a call and thats an order."

        "Anything for you." Said Elijah.

        "Come on Ciroc. Lets head out. nice meeting you Renee. Maybe we could hang out sometime." i said walking away and waving goodbye.

        "Nice to meet you too. And hanging out Sounds cool." Renee said waving back at me.

        I was happy that we went to the movies, otherwise i wouldnt have ran into Elijah and met his sister. she seemed pretty cool and I was hoping that she would take me up on my offer of hanging out. This day had been good and it felt like a new start for me.
