"Higher! Higher!," I screamed as Roman pushed me on the swings.
"Any higher and you'll fall off and break something!," Logan shouted at me.
"Logan buddy, he's only like 4 feet off the ground. What could he possible break at that height?" Roman asked.
Logan shrugged," I don't know. He could fall off backwards and hit his head."
"I'll be fine Lo," I told him.

I kept swinging and Roman kept pushing me. Logan later got annoyed at us from not listening to him and kept going up and down the curly slide. Roman soon got tired of pushing me and swung on his own on a swing next to me.

Let me get this out of the way first, yes. We were at a playground. But not just a regular playground. It was Roman's and Logan's playground in their backyard. Their parents had a lot of money, so they lived in a Colonial house with a HUGE backyard. Duh. Along with the playground, they also put in a hot tub, a giant pool (with minibar), a bouncy castle, and a grill. They wanted to fill the whole place and the grill was a "must have" for their dad.

How did they make so much money? Roman's and Logan's dad is a lawyer and their mom is a world-wide chef! Or at least what Roman tells me. Their house is the best place to hang around, especially on Taco Tuesdays.

Roman and I swung higher and higher, until we eventually couldn't go any higher, and then we both would jump off. Roman loves to do it so he stuck the landing, but I only tried jumping off twice so I fell to my knees.

"Ouch, that one looked like it hurt," Roman said as he helped me up.
"I'll live," I said as I brushed the grass off my pants.
"Told you so," Logan said through the metal bars near the slide.
Roman rolled his eyes," Technically he didn't break anything. So you were wrong before."

Logan got annoyed again. He hates whenever he's wrong. Roman and Logan get along with each other but that doesn't stop Roman from annoying the heck out of Logan... more than usual.

Roman looked at the bouncy castle and smirked. "Last one in the bouncy castle is a nerdy sore loser!"

I laughed as I ran because I knew Roman meant Logan. Logan was fast but not as fast as me and Roman. I ran into Roman and we fell on the bouncy castle. Logan passed us and headed straight in.

"One of you is the nerdy sore loser because it sure isn't me! I was first in!," he bragged.

Roman and I looked at each other and then we looked at the bouncy castle. Roman pushed me aside and started climbing in but I pulled him back by his leg and he fell on me. I pushed Roman off and grabbed the opening of the bouncy castle. I climbed in and grabbed Logan's leg but I felt Roman pull me back down and out. I saw Logan fall back but he got back up again and continued watching us. Roman and I wrestled each other until we both got tired and fell on our backs. I could hear Logan bouncing on the bouncy castle as me and Roman lay on the grass, panting.

"I'm... gonna... win... after this...," I panted.
"Not if...I get... there... first," he replied.
"You guys... are both... total... weirdos," Logan mocked and then laughed.

Roman and I both looked up at him. He and I both got up and walked towards the bouncy castle. Logan zipped the opening and clipped the zipper to a side of the castle. It doesn't really help him much.

Roman knows how to unlock and unzip the opening. He's done it before when a kid didn't share it with the rest of the other kids during Roman's birthday party. I've never seen a kid who could tear a right through the net before. Long story short, it ended with the kid going home early and crying. I'm still surprised that Roman didn't get grounded or anything. I would've grounded him if I was his dad.

Before we got any closer, Roman's and Logan's mom came out and hollered at us.

"Boys! Logan, Roman, Patton it's time for school! You don't want to be late for your last week!"
Roman eyed Logan," You're safe this time..."

Logan's face looked worried. I would be too. Roman's scary sometimes.

Logan unzipped the opening as Roman and I ran inside. Our book bags were on the kitchen island with our lunch boxes next to them. My book bag had cats and dogs all over it, Roman's had a knight battling a dragon, and Logan's was just a plain blue and black cover. Our lunch boxes also had the same design.

"Boys, for your lunch desserts today, I made a strawberry tart," Michelle said. She likes when I call her by her real name.
"Yes!," we all screamed.
Michelle whispered in my ear," Your mom wanted me to make another one for Virgil. So don't eat it. I like you being here but I'm not gonna spoil you that much."
I nodded. It was a big task, not eating the extra tart because Michelle was like the best cook ever.

We all heard a loud honking noise outside and Michelle pushed us towards the door.

"Alright! Only one more week! Have a good day! Love you!"

We ran outside and towards the bus. The doors opened and we hopped inside. Not many kids were on, but that's because we were one of the first kids being picked up.

We all usually sit together, but one seat can only hold two people. So Logan and Roman would sit together while I would sit behind them by myself. I would usually sit with my younger brother Virgil, but he doesn't get on the bus till later.

When we did arrive at my house, it seemed in worse condition than when I left it to spend the night at Roman and Logan's house. I saw the door open and Virgil walked towards the bus with his hood up. I watched as he climbed into the bus and sat next to me.

"Mom and Kyle are fighting again," Virgil told me looking at the ground.
"Is there any new news?" I asked.

Virgil just shrugged. He put his head on my shoulders and tried to sleep. I knew whenever he did this, he was tired, so that meant he didn't get any sleep last night. I know how it was. Kyle and mom was always fight and that would leave me and Virgil listening to it all as we tried to at least get in a little nap. God have mercy on our souls.

Hai! I know it's been awhile since I've been posting but I'm on a cruise and I didn't realize the cruise didn't have WiFi. But I've been writing to make up for the days I've missed and then hopefully we can get back on track. I'm so excited to continue this new series! But anyways... stay tooned my Pupper Lovers!!!
