"Worst.Brother.Ever," Virgil said to me as we ate our lunches.
I put my arms up in surrender," What did I do?!"
Virgil crossed his arms," You made me spend time with mom. With mom!"

Oh right. We were having so much fun last night that I completely forgot that I set my little brother up on a "dude date."

"Can I just ask, since when did we buy every Harry Potter movie in existence?" He asked me.
"I thought you loved Harry Potter?" I said.

It was true. He and I were kind of geeks. Wizard geeks. I'm a Hufflepuff, the friendliest and funniest house to be sorted in. Virgil doesn't care enough to find his own house.

"Dude, I never said I loved it. And that was like the 300th time I've seen people scream because someone said Voldemort's name."

I winced. I hated when people said the dark lord's real name.

"Who's name?" I asked.
"Voldemort's."
"Who?"
"Voldemort!"
"Hmm?"
"He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named," Virgil rolled his eyes.
"Thank you."

Virgil ate the last of his mashed potatoes as Logan and Roman joined the table. Roman unpacked his food as Logan slowly did, he looked tired.

"Where were you two? Virgil got here before you guys," I told them.
"Yea, before you! I've never experienced this before. Never let it happen again," Virgil added.
"Long story short, I was up late last night watching YouTube," Roman started.
"And I couldn't get enough sleep because someone gave me dozens of candy bars before bed," Logan finished.

I assumed he was talking about me. Correction, I knew he was talking about me. What? I like sugar.

"What's so bad about that?" Virgil asked.
"Sugar gives you nightmares," Logan and I both said.
Virgil made an 'Oh' face and continued eating.
"You guys seemed fine this morning," I said.
Roman shook his head," We had frappes before this. Coffee crash I guess."

Why didn't I get a frappe? Wait. They're allowed to get frappes? I looked around some more in my lunchbox. What I didn't see left me disappointed.

"Did your mom not make dessert today?" I asked.
Logan and Roman both shook their heads.
"She didn't know you were coming over yesterday. Otherwise, she would've prepared the best. If she made it this morning then we would've just probably got cookies."
"Ohhhh ok."

Roman snickered to himself.
"What?" We all asked.
"She's probably relieved that she won't have to make us anymore desserts after tomorrow until we start middle school."
Logan looked confused,"What do you mean tomorrow?"
Roman looked less tired now.
"Oh, tomorrow's our last day. And it's a school special that they're letting kids go home at 2:30 instead of 3.}

Virgil's eyes lit up," Starting today?"
Roman nodded and Virgil did a small victory fist pump.
"Oh and that reminds us. My dad's going to be picking us all up tomorrow after school. So don't ride the bus home," Roman added.

We all nodded and finished our meals. Roman and Logan eat fast. When they want to.
~~~
When the bus drove down the road, with Roman and Logan sticking their whole bodies out to wave goodbye, Virgil and I made our way inside. Mom's car wasn't there so she was probably working, but Kyle's truck was always in its spot. Kyle never went anywhere, unless if the place had gambling and girls in it. I don't understand girls, what's there to like about them?
