[Eight: Cliff Diving]

Chapter 8

I woke to find a nice surprise. In my nightmares, I had unconsciously filed my room with swirls of dark smoke.

"Well isn't this just amazing." Sighing to no one in particular.

I got up and began to change into a surf shirt and some short shorts so I can cliff dive comfortably. I however forgot to call Sam to tell him I was cliff diving with the pack.

I got a bag with a change of clothes, just in case I needed them.

I pulled out my phone and called Sam.

"Hey Marie." Sam said a kind voice.

"Hey Sam. I know that you and the pack are going to be cliff diving today and I wanted to see if I could join." I sweetly ask him.

"Oh yeah that's fine, Embry and Quil will finally be able to officially meet you. They kept asking about the white wolf that is usually with us." He laughed.

"Oh I thought they already knew. Why didn't you tell them." I sighed.

"I thought that you would want to do the honors. They don't even know your name because they'd automatically know who you are from it."

"Alright so at what time are you guys going." I asked as I began to walk outside.

"We are heading over in about and hour, you know the cliff right?" He asked me.

"Yea I'll see you there." I told him as I began my slow walk over to the cliff.

Third POV

Marie had taken this time during her walk to try something she has never done before.

She was going to try shifting while still being able to keep her clothes on.

The wolves can't do this but they strap a small bag on their leg where they put their shorts, since they already walk around shirtless. So their change of clothing is easier than Marie's.

Marie had failed many times while she tried shifting into a falcon. However this last attempt she tried using her magic to make her clothes stay attached with herself as she shifted, where she would use the clothing to reinforce the skin, feathers or fur of whatever animal she shifted into. It was finally working and so she shited back to herself and started her run to cliff since she had wasted a long time in her little experiment.

When she had arrived the rest of the pack was already there waiting for her to arrive.

"When is he getting here." Quil complained as he already wanted to start their activity. He had assumed that the person they were waiting for was a male and oh was this going to be a surprise.

"Just wait. You can become so impatient." Paul snapped as he was done with Quil's complaining.

Marie had smile spread on her face as she heard their bickering.

She had masked her sent and made her steps so quiet that even their own hearing could pick it up.

"It's already february and we still haven't met him and you haven't even given us a clue to about him." Embry was the one that was whining now.
