11. Complicated

JUNGKOOK POV

"Uh Jungkook.. We were just acting." Eunji said as she sat beside Jiyeon.

"Then why did I hear my name?" I said confusingly.

"WE umm. Jiyeon, tell him the reason." Eunji said as she looked to Jiyeon.

"We were not acting. She just wanted me to know that she loved you and you loved her too. I wish all the best to you. And Eunji, I would stay away from him but I probably shouldn't." Jiyeon replied back.

"Why?" Eunji said as she stared at Jiyeon in confusion.

"Cause I want you to point that gun to me again and shoot me for real, that's the only way to stay away." Jiyeon said honestly.

My eyes widened from shock, she wanted to die just because of my happiness.

"Jiyeon.. I don't love her, okay? You girls are making me confused.  I love you Jiyeon.. " I said trying to keep my eyes on Jiyeon.

I felt Eunji shaking, tears were falling from her eyes. She couldn't believe what had happened. Her loved one rejected her.

"I'm sorry Eunji, please understand me.. " I said smiling at her and she smiled back creepily.

She took the gun and pointed it at Jiyeon, I was shaking. I don't want Jiyeon to die.

"Isn't this what you wanted? To end things for all?!" Eunji said to Jiyeon while trying to pull the trigger.

"E-eunji please..  Let go of the gun, let's settle this." I said as I got closer to her.

"Hey, you are free to be discharged tomorrow, are y-" The doctor's eyes widened as he saw the gun.

"Why is everyone in this room trying to commit suicide or kill someone?! " The doctor said as he also tried to get the gun.

"It's okay Eunji, do what you want. You wouldn't want to hurt Jungkook if you truly loved him." Jiyeon said while she was laughing.

"I'd never hurt him!" Eunji shouted at her.

"You would, if you shoot me now.. Jungkook will probably commit suicide the next day after he receives news." Jiyeon said while staring at the ceiling.

"But if you shoot yourself.. Jungkook would be partly sad as you'd be gone but happy because of me." Jiyeon said happily.

"So.. Jungkook, I love you too." Jiyeon smiled back at me. I wanted to hug her but first, I needed to save Eunji.

"Eunji, drop the gun." I said as I got closer.

"You really got no shame?! Confessing in front of me and then now you'd probably kiss in front of me? Haha try it." Eunji said as she kept laughing like a maniac.

"Well I'd be happy if you felt the same thing I felt when you kissed him, he didn't kiss back. Although I won't be feeling the same as you when you kissed him because he will kiss me back." Jiyeon said as she was laughing too.

This wasn't the Jiyeon I liked back then, she was kind although she always tries to get me first before Yuna does.
