The time that passed isn't long enough,
Feels like a minute,
Zooming past the ruff.
Make due of the time that I'm awarded,
Questioned about my choices,
That's why I'm guarded,
But behind this wall,
Lies a woman you couldn't handle.
Love as deep as the ocean,
Touches a soft as the waves.
Trapped behind the glass,
You've never bothered to tamper with.
The smallest crack,
The softest blow,
Sends this wall tumbling down.
Cutting my feet, as I make my way to you.
Only to arrive,
Bandaged and scarred,
And you've changed your mind,
Again.
