The time that passed isn't long enough,

Feels like a minute,

Zooming past the ruff.

Make due of the time that I'm awarded,

Questioned about my choices,

That's why I'm guarded,

But behind this wall,

Lies a woman you couldn't handle.

Love as deep as the ocean,

Touches a soft as the waves.

Trapped behind the glass,

You've never bothered to tamper with.

The smallest crack,

The softest blow,

Sends this wall tumbling down.

Cutting my feet, as I make my way to you.

Only to arrive,

Bandaged and scarred,

And you've changed your mind,

Again.
