// Yukio's point of view:

The sky brightens because of the stars tonight, it lightens up my mood, taking away my breath. It's been hard these past few days, I wish she was here, beside me so we can look at the skies together. I want to hold her hand again, just like we use to when we were young.

I sighed, I really miss her.

"I hope you're seeing this with me."

"I hope you're doing well."

"... I'll be here waiting.."

Someone tapped my back, I turned around. "You followed me?" I asked.

"Yukio.. you have a lot of secrets," Rin stated. That was straightforward. But, it's true, I do have secrets.

"But, can you tell me who are you waiting for?" Rin asked with a straight face.

I looked at my brother once again. I sighed.

A hint of sadness was heard in his question, probably because I have always been secretive; leading to the fact that my own brother barely knows me. I'm self-centered. But apart from that, I have always been wanting to be open to my brother. But I can't find the right time or I've been too busy at work. Tonight might be the perfect time to take my baby steps and open up to him. I'll start talking to him about her.

I smiled as I sight on the half-moon above. "I call her Tenshi, oto-san's former student," I answered.

"Old geezer's student?!" He surprisingly asked. I nodded.

"Tenshi like an angel? That's a nice name." Rin said.

"It was Father who named her. He likes to call her Tenshi, so everyone else also called her by that nickname." I explained as I recalled the memories of the past.

"So, you're not the only student of that old man," Nii-san asked.

"Father was the only one who is brave enough to accept her as an apprentice, he taught her how to defend herself with guns. While Shura, on the other hand, taught her how to hold a sword." I explained.

"Shura-san?!" Nii-san reacted. "Wait, how come I never met this girl?" He pouted his lips as he crossed his arms.

"It was supposed to be a secret back in the day, but cats are out of the bag now," I said as I lowered my head.

"Is she pretty?" Nii-san, you don't ask the type of questions like that all of a sudden.

I was a bit hesitant to answer. He tried to put me on the spot. It took me a second to answer. Why would he ask something like that? Is he trying to figure out if I find her attractive? I guess Nii-san wouldn't know because she is nowhere near the academy. There's no harm in telling the truth, right?

"She is," I said as I try to stop myself from blushing, I don't think that was possible but I tried. He laughed. Making me feel embarrassed.

"So, you like her? Is that why you're waiting for her?" Nii-san teased while poking my shoulder and doing a stupid expression on his face.

"I have enough of this. Let's eat, Kuro?" I tried to change the subject. That's enough secrets for tonight. I stood and walk with Kuro back to our dorm.

"Yeah! I'm hungry!" Kuro complained.

"Wait Yukio, You have to tell MORE." He followed us to the kitchen and he prepared dinner.

I wonder, where are you now? Do you feel safe? Will you come back? Do you still like punk music? When you come back, will you remember me?

// Flashback

The last time I saw Yui lonely was our first encounter, at the playground of our church. I was just about to get my exorcism book in my room when I saw her sitting on one of the benches. She had tears falling down her cheeks as she silently observed the kids in the swing.

"Don't cry, crying can make you ugly," A famous saying from another country caught her attention, and she looked at me.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I'm Yukio, what's your name?" I leaned on a hand, she looked at me as she took my hand. She told me her name as a reply.

When she raised her head, her eyes were the first thing that piques my interest, it was like a deep blue ocean filled with nothingness, upon looking at me, I had an opportunity to see her dark circles under her eyes.

In the back of my mind, I asked myself, why did I even bother talking to this girl? I allowed myself to be distracted by a crying girl. Is it because I saw someone like me? Or was I disturbed by a huge amount of coal tars in her back? I sighed, My father would probably scold me for procrastinating.

I sat beside her and asked her why she was crying. She told me that her playmates don't want to play with her because she's weak. I talked to her for a while, she probably hasn't had a mashou (wound caused by demons) or she hasn't noticed the demons behind her. I tried to comfort her, and after on, she began to calm down.

But the demons haven't left her yet.

Something is not right.

Demons are attracted to humans who are emotionally unstable or people who're having emotional breakdowns; nonetheless, to the people who have done something bad.

I convinced her to go inside the church first, but before we could reach the monastery, Izumi and the others stared at us and trembled in fear. To be specific, they were looking at the coal tars. They have her wear an amulet and soon the coal tars slowly disappeared.

Seishiro told me to 'keep her busy' and away from demon creatures. I took this opportunity to take a rest from my exorcist training. Since this was an adult's command, I would have an excuse to not study and my father won't scold me.

I tried to encourage her to play games that won't strain her body. I brought board games and card games. Surprisingly, she is good at Chess and Scrabble. I lost three times with no queens and triple-word scores.

Back then, I remember how she smiles. Pure and innocent.

After we played board games, I turn the page of my exorcism book. She noticed it, she knew that demons are creatures who scare people.

After that, oto-san entered the monastery, he called us and introduced her, my new classmate in exorcism.
