We spent hours reviewing and questioning her tales of origin. Yui quietly reads the book and after a while, she will ask questions about the book. I summarized the pieces of the book so that she wouldn't need to read the whole book. Yui had absorbed the information she just got and she's now calm and settled.
"Are you sure, you don't have any questions left?" I confirmed.
She nodded. "I'm looking forward to hearing the other story you have, when is the next storytelling?" She joked.
"Pretty sure not this time, we'll probably continue it tomorrow," I answered.
"I guess I have to wait." Yui raised her shoulder up and smiled at me. I could feel that she really wants to know more about her past, especially what happened two years ago, but I'm still thinking about how I will tell Yui about that incident. Her bloodline is out and the next important thing to tell her might disappoint her.
"I should get going then, I have something to get from the store, I'll catch you later," Yui said after standing on her feet.
"I'll be right here, sleeping." I gave her a smile while waving goodbye to her.
My smile soon fades as she walks away.
I sighed.
I should sleep. I need to rest.
I walked all the way to my room and immediately lay on my bed as soon as I see it. My eyes were getting heavy, but my mind cannot rest, for the past kept on replaying in my mind, the past which is the incident two years ago, hunts me.
This has unlocked a memory that I wanted to bury forever.
