// Yukio's point of view:

My back got in contact with the wall. Luckily, I'm a demon now, that impact could've broken my bones and killed me. Being a demon has some perks, I wouldn't die easily and I'm physically stronger now.

"Yui..." I called her name. It's pretty dark, I couldn't see her but she's under me. Hopefully, she's not hurt.

After a few calls, I began to hear moans. Was she unconscious for a few minutes?

"..what the?" A whisper escaped her lips. Her hands began to explore my chest area.

"Yukio? Where are you?"

"Where am I? What is this?" To answer your question, that's my chest, Yui.

What are you doing? Why do you keep on touching my chest? Are you trying to figure out what's in front of you?

"Yukio?" she quickly released her hands after she spots the buttons of my coat.

"Are you okay?" I asked. She answered yes and returned the question to me. I asked her to use her phone and turn on its flashlight. She followed my instructions.

When the lights were on, I was able to see Yui's face clearly, she pointed the flashlight at my face.

"Yukio, there's blood on your..." she wasn't able to finish her sentence as her hand quickly reached into her pocket, she revealed a handkerchief and she used it to wipe the blood on my forehead.

"Does it hurt?" I shook my head, well it did hurt when the wall hit my head, but the wounds are already healed and it's closed now. "I should be asking you that question, you have a cut on your cheek," I said.

She smiled and eventually touched her wounded cheek, "Don't worry, it will heal soon." words escaped her words and I wasn't expecting it to hear from her. Just like what she said, her wounds heal right in front of my eyes.

Maybe I was too scared to notice back then or I was too focused on looking at a dead body that I overlook what happened. My hands began to shake and my eyes began to form tears.

Yui directed the light to our surroundings, she's probably looking for a way to escape.

"Ho- How did you know," I lowered my head, I couldn't talk without my voice shaking. "About the sword? The glowing amulet? That your wounds would heal?" I asked.

It took a few minutes before she could form a response.

"The demon showed me," She lowered her voice. "What happened two years ago..." She continued.

"I told myself it might be an illusion but you chanted and the amulet glowed. That's when I realized the illusion that I saw was rea-" My sobs made her stop talking. I couldn't stop myself from crying.
