// Yukio's point of view:

She, she was the girl who tried to make me smile every day, my girl who tries to be ladylike; my woman who has sweet smiles.

She, she was there when I'm alone, my girl who makes my life easier. The woman I'm been waiting for two years.

I'm waiting, where are you?

She's here

~

"And sometimes, my mother tells stories, but she doesn't say much," Yui said before taking a sip of her drink.

"So what happened?" Shiemi curiously asked.

"My mother told me that I got into an accident and had brain damage, it is similar to Amnesia, but the doctors put it in inconclusive and I had to move to America for my treatment." Yui reasoned.

It was classified, Yui. You were in a state of coma because there was a fracture in your spine, thus also affecting your brain.

"I was told that someone in this Academy would help me regain my memories. I'm still not sure, but I think he's my childhood friend of mine."

"Do you know who he is?" Rin asked.

It's me, Yui.

"No..." Yui said in a low voice.

"Don't worry, we can help you find him. It's not that hard to find people here. We could just ask the dormitories about him since most of the students here live in the school's dormitories." Shiemi suggested, and Rin soon agreed to Shiemi.

It's so painful to be in here, the girl I have been longing for doesn't remember me. But I should be happy that she's here right beside me, that she survived, that she's back to me. I waited for her to come back. I just-- I just can't handle my heart hurting this much.

"What's wrong with your face, Yukio?" My brother started to notice that I was staring at the air, he looked at me, "Are you okay?" Nii-san once again asked.

"I'm fine, excuse me." I stood up from my sit.

"Thank you but, I still have to fix my dorm first before I could even start looking for him," Yui said as I turn around to go to the bathroom.

No doubt that she's my Yui whom I met eight years ago.

Lunch break has passed and the classes for the afternoon have been canceled due to the busy professors partaking in a meeting. Good timing, I didn't really want to take classes, I'm exhausted, and I want some time alone where I could think, somewhere I could comfort myself.

I saw a poster of my old elementary school; some exorcist walking by talking about a previous demon hunt in a nearby elementary school.

That's when the time my feet moved on their own, they walked down the path I could never expect, I let myself go somewhere, where good memories could be found. I went on a train, I walk past our monastery, and to go at the rooftop of my old elementary school.

This is where Yui and I attended middle school.

As I walk on the staircase to the rooftop, I saw the drawings on the walls that Yui and I drew. I miss those days, those days when we can do whatever we want. I miss those days with Yui.

A step closer to the rooftop and the only thing that separated me from the outside is the door, I grabbed the doorknob and twisted it. The first thing I saw when it opened was a girl with her long black hair flying in the air. She turned around as the old metal door cricks.

"Yukio, what are you doing in here?" she remembered my name.

"I should ask you that question, I thought you were going to fix your dorm?" I said. I made sure I was talking as usual. I didn't want to scare her if I hinted I'm not feeling well.

She let a small laugh out on her lips. "My roommates told me this was the best view to see the sunset. I had to see it for myself." She said as she shifted her glance to the sunset.

"She wasn't lying..." She commented.

I took sight of the scenery, it is indeed beautiful as if the skies were thrown with red paint with a touch of orange strokes coming from the sun. But the remarkable thing about this is that Yui was the one who always tells me that sunsets are her favorite thing to see and that the best view of it is here on the rooftop.

"It's so beautiful." Her attitude, personality, and movements didn't change.

"It's like the angels threw paints in the skies," I commented.

"I was just about to say that!" Yui surprisingly said as she smiles purely. But that smile faded as she stared into my eyes, she probably realized she used to say that.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm Yukio Okumura."

"No, seriously, who are you?"

"You looked familiar."

"And the first time we met, you asked if I remember you."

"You resemble the guy that I always see in my dreams."

"Are you sure?" I embraced her.

"Yukio?-"

"Are you sure that it was a dream?" I whispered to her ear, confused as she should be. I embraced her tight, tight as I miss her. Her cheeks went all red, she tried to push me away, but she failed.

"Yukio, I'm confused..."

I hope you remember me for this.

"You may not remember me, but I held you dear in my heart. Now, I'm nothing more than just a lost memory, but if you'll ever remember a piece of memory, I want this to be it." I paused for a while before I continue to repeat my farewell letter to her two years ago.

"I will wait until you return," I said.

She looked up into my eyes; soon I noticed a tear fall from her eye. I shed it for her.

"Don't cry, crying can make you ugly," I stated.

She widened her eyes as her tears fell like fountains, and her arms found their way to hug me back. She shoved her face into my chest as she silently cried in my embrace.

"You're him..." She whispered.

"Yes, I am," I confirmed.

"I-I found you... I found you." I pulled her head closer to my chest.

She still snobs, but sometime after she finds her way to calm down. But I haven't broken the embrace; well I don't really want to. And she hasn't broken her embrace too.

The sun has set and the moon soon shines, Yui and I looked into each other's eyes. I wiped the remaining tear on her cheek.

What nice scenery, I said in my mind as I continue to look at Yui.

Later on, she took sight of the skies.

I've wanted to see this with you.

I'm happy that you're back.

I miss you, Yui.
