Chapter 4

Annie

Today I have a free day and I decided to hang out with Katie and Sydney. I'm currently doing straightening my hair and doing makeup.

I grabbed my backpack and put all my things in  it. Like 2 days ago, I saw the hair tie. I don't know why I didn't just throw it away. I kept wearing it every single day after the breakup. It made me feel safe, I guess. I thought I lost it.

I hesitated, but grabbed it and put it on.

"I'm going to the mall! Love you guys!" I shouted running out of the door.

I immediately saw Katie and Syd and I ran up to them giving them hugs.

"Annie!" They screamed.

Of course we had to have a dramatic reunion, even though we saw each other like 5 days ago.

After our whole scene, they started asking me a bunch of questions. About what? Hayden Summerall.

"Guys guys calm down!"

"Annie! How can we 'calm down?' He is your ex!" Sydney shouted.

"Sydney calm down! I don't know what the big deal is." I said.
"What do you mean?" Katie asked.

"I mean, yeah, he's my ex but what we had wasn't that special. We were 14!"

"Come on, it had to be special. When you moved here you wouldn't talk to any of us. That's how sad you were." Syd said.

"I didn't mean it like that. It was young love. Of course I loved our relationship, but it wasn't too serious." I said sighing. "Now can we just shop now?"

"Heck ya!" Katie shouted.

at home

Today was great. I hung out with 2 of my best friends and I didn't have to record anything. I laid down on my bed and went on my phone since it was blowing up with notifications. I checked Twitter first and saw that tiger beat posted a video.

I clicked on it and saw that it was...me? It was a video of me talking about Hayden and I. They also cut out the part where I said that I loved our relationship. Probably to make me look bad.

Just as I finished watching the video, I got a dm from Hayden. Oh lord. I opened it.

haydensummerall so it wasn't special to you? look ik i was an idiot that day but i broke up with you so you can pursue your dreams and enjoy your life. i cried for days after that breakup...wait forget that. I cried for weeks. weeks. to this day I still wear that hair tie. Annie I really wanted us to be best friends or at least friends again but I don't think you want that so I will keep my distance. Oh and don't even try to apologize. It doesn't matter.

Y'all I actually like this chapter like to me it's actually good. Btw I'm not a writer in any way this is really just for fun but omg this is like a plot twist I'm actually proud. I think writing these short chapters are wayyy better cause then I can update more idk byeee
