changbin sighed as he pushed the back door of the bar he worked at open. he was tired and exhausted from the long night of bartending he had. he couldn't wait to go home and lay in his bed, and leave the world for the few hours of sleep he could get if his brain would cooperate and turn off. which most nights, it wouldn't.
he walked down the dark alleys alone, following the same path he took every night to get to his apartment building. this was one of changbin's favorite parts of the night. walking home in the late night, the quiet sounds of the city. it was so peaceful.
when he got to his apartment building, he walked up six flights of stairs to get to his floor. he won't take the elevator because he's claustrophobic and doesn't like feeling stuffy, and his anxiety takes him over.
he unlocked the door and threw his keys onto the coffee table that stood in the middle of his tiny living room.
changbin wasn't rich, but he wasn't necessarily poor by any means. he was a bartender and was pretty easy on the eyes, so he got some good tips some nights. especially friday and saturday nights. but he has to save a lot of that money up for things he needs, so it isn't fun and games getting a bunch of money in one night.
changbins history, is something he never speaks about. it's a dark past, which has created him to be the type of person he is today. he went through a lot of trauma as a kid, and still is. he doesn't really have friends, except bang chan, one of his old friends that got him the job at the bar he works at now. but he doesn't have much.
changbin went out onto the outside balcony he had connected to his room. he grabbed his cigarettes from his jeans pocket and lit the paper stick and put it in his mouth as he glanced up at the moon. this was his second favorite part of the night, standing outside, smoking a cigarette, while looking at the moon above.
he thought the moon was the most beautiful thing in the universe. the way it shined nicely every night. it took his breath away. he was in love with the fact that it never left him. so many people had left changbin in his lifetime, but the moon has always stayed. even if it's gone for a night or two, it always comes back eventually, and changbin always looked forward to it.
changbins gaze on the moon was interrupted by the sound of something scratching against the floor. changbin looked over at the balcony beside him and saw a boy he'd never seen before moving a table out onto the balcony. the boy seemed to have a really light brown or almost orange hair, he couldn't tell, all he had was the moonlight to see the boy.
