Nova's pov

We all arrive at this very fancy mansion. It's huge. There's a garden and a huge fountain out front and a bunch of limos are pulling up. I thought Jason's mansion was big but this is something else. We all get out of the cars and we gather together.

"Everyone got their masquerade masks" Austin said and we all nodded. To add to the cliche shitty ball this is gonna be, everyone has to wear masquerade masks. We're not complaining though because this just makes things easier for us. We all put our masks on and get ready to go in.

"Stay behind me and don't speak" Austin said to all of us. We all walk up to the front doors and Austin walks up to the two guys at the front.

"Name" the guy said.

"Austin...Austin Hood" He said.

"Who are these people behind you?" the guy said.

"Old friends of mine and Carters. Let us in, Jack" Austin said.

"Old friends?" the guy jack said and I started getting nervous. Does he suspect something?

"Yes, old friends. Old criminal friends before you even became apart of the gang. Now would you let us in" Austin said and the guy nodded.

"Go ahead" He said moving out of the way. The doors open and we all walk in. There was a little lobby area and then there were huge steps that we had to walk up to get to the room.

"Is everyone prepared because there's no turning back now?" Austin said.

"We're always prepared" Jason said.

"Okay, act normal like I said" Austin said. Grayson goes over to Hannah and they wrap their arms around each other. The boys and Jade walk closely together and Jason comes up to me.

"You're going to be okay" he said then grabbed my arm. I nodded and wrapped my arm around his and we all walked up the stairs. When the doors opened we all just stood there shocked. The room was huge and filled with tons of people. Everyone dressed up with their masks. There's tables all lined up on the sides of the room then in the middle is a huge dance floor. Then right in the front center is a stage.

"This is gross" Jade said. We all walk into the room and I look around. Some people are dancing and others are sitting around talking and drinking. I'm in a room full of criminals right now. Never pictured this to happen in my life.

"When do we separate?" Grayson said.

"Now.  We don't wanna look too suspicious standing around as a big group.  Go blend in with others and when it's 11:30..we start" Jason said.  Everyone nodded then proceeded to split up.  Jason and I go over to the bar area and he gets two drinks. 

"how are you feeling?" I said. 

"nervous" he said.

"The Jason McCann is feeling nervous?" I said.

"Don't tell the others" He said giving me an evil eye and I smiled.
