Jason's pov

Everyone is gathered around in my room right now. By everyone I mean Jade, Hannah, Grayson, Caleb and Nova. I still feel like a complete asshole for not believing her. I still feel so horrible and guilty for sleeping with Payton. I can't even stop thinking about it. I can feel how hurt Nova is. If only I could just control my anger. Within the time period of me being pissed at Nova, my anger skyrocketed. Why would my father do something like that? Why would he join Carter's side? I don't care whether he's my father or not...I want him dead.

"Should we do something now?" Hannah said.

"I say we march right into Dave's room and call him out." Caleb said.

"Then kill him" Jade said and Hannah looked to her. "Sorry, Han, but it's true. Your father is a liar. He's on the other side" she continued.

"I know, you're right. I just can't wrap my head around it" Hannah said.

"I wanna go in there right now. I'm pissed" Grayson said.

"No, we can't. We have to be smarter now. That's the only way we'll win this." Nova said.

"what's your plan?" Grayson said.

"We make Dave think his plan is working. You guys continue to act like you don't trust me. Then we secretly meet up if any of us find more information. We do that until we can officially make the next move." Nova said.

"Which is killing Carter and my father" I said.

"How long are we gonna have to act like we know nothing?" Caleb said.

"As long as we have to. We can't go into this unprepared" Nova said.

"She's right. We have to have all the resources we need" I said looking to her and she gave me a small glance.

"Okay, looks like we got a lot to do then" Jade said and everyone nodded.

It's time to get back to work.

Grayson, Caleb and I are sitting out on the balcony smoking. The girls are off doing their own thing in the other room. The boys have been talking non stop about everything but I haven't been listening much. I can't get my mind off Nova.

"what are you thinking about?" Caleb said.

"nothing" I said.

"Are you good now?" Grayson said.

"I don't know what took over me but I fucked up big time" I said exhaling the smoke.

"Yeah, you really did dude" Caleb said and I shot him a glare.

"Things will get better, man. I do wanna beat your ass for sleeping with Payton though" Grayson said.

"I did it knowing I was gonna hurt Nova. What kind of shit is that?! I seriously regret it." I said.

"You really like her, don't you?" Caleb said.
