Nova's pov

Hannah and I are back in my room right now and I'm pacing back and forth. Tomorrow is seriously when everything is going to do down. I could tell by the expression and tone of Jason that he's not waiting any longer. He's pissed. It's always too good to be true thinking about tomorrow. But yet again, anything could go wrong. We didn't have much time to prepare. We're jumping right into this tomorrow. There's no point to even prepare anymore they said. I think they're partially true but i'm also nervous about the whole situation. I definitely want to be there. I'm not allowing Jason to make me stay behind. I'm going with them all. I'm going to fight with them.

Hannah and I have been sitting here for the last hour debating what to do. It's almost midnight which is what time the note told me to be at the location it listed. I know it's Kylie and Lexi because it's the spot we used to always go to. The only problem is, I don't know what I'm going to say to them. I need to convince them that Carter is the bad guy here. I believe they're in serious danger. They're gonna be dragged into something they won't be able to get back out of. Or if things don't go Carter's way, he's going to hurt them. The thing is how am I supposed to convince them?

"Should we bring Jason?" Hannah said breaking the silence.

"No, I'm not bringing him. That will just be a disaster" I said. If I bring him, all hell will be raised. I definitely won't be able to talk to Kylie and Lexi if I bring him.

"They have to listen to us. Why would they believe Carter over us?" She said. That's a good question, Hannah.

"If you haven't noticed, Carter is very manipulative." I said. He has a way of getting people to believe in everything he says. It's why I stayed with him for so long. He knows what he's doing. That's what makes him so dangerous.

"we should go now" Hannah said. I nod then she gets up and we both walk over to the door and I take a deep breath. Now's my last chance to talk to them and get them to believe me. If they don't, things aren't going to be pretty for them. I would hate to see anything happen to them. I open the door and stop when I see Jason unexpectedly standing there. What the hell is he doing here?! The smile he has on his face drops to confusion when he sees us looking to each other.

"Where are you guys going?" He said. Hannah and I both just stand there quietly. We look to each other then I speak up before we look even more suspicious than we already do.

"We were just going out. Girl time" I said then mentally hit myself. Girl time?!

"I don't think you two should be going out tonight. Especially with what just happened to Grayson" He said.

"Jason, we'll be fine." Hannah said rolling her eyes then pushing him out of the way. Before she could even get past him, he grabbed her arm.

"what the hell are you two up to? There's no way in hell you guys are going out to have girl time. Whatever the fuck that means." He said mumbling the last part to himself. I swear he fucking knows everything. I can never get away with anything with him.   He always knows when I'm lying.

"We're meeting up with Kylie and Lexi" I said just coming straight out. He would've just kept questioning us until we told him anyway. Hannah hit my arm and then I looked back to Jason. The look he had on his face made me me kind of annoyed. It's a look like I'm a child who doesn't know how to behave.
