~+Tord's P.O.V+~
"Are you going to Tom's party tonight?" Edd asked, sitting across from me. We were at the table in our dorm and it was around 6 o'clock at night, and we'd just finished up with dinner. It had been about a week since college started, and everything was going fairly decent. Edd and I hadn't really become 'friends' yet, but we talked to each other every now and then, so I guess we were getting somewhere.
"Tom's hosting a party? Where?" I asked in response, wondering why I hadn't been invited or notified about it.
"At his nightclub!"
"Tom owns a nightclub? Isn't that.. Illegal?"
"Well, It's under his parents' names, but they don't really care, so Tom basically owns the place. He hosts a party every year as a 'welcome back to school' party," Edd started, "Normally everyone's invited.."
"I wasn't."
"Oh.. Well, I guess he has a reason..."
"Tch. He's just being a wuss because he's afraid I'll kick his ass."
"No! He probably just..." Edd trailed off, trying to find a word to describe him.
I sighed, "How about I go anyways. You said everyone's normally invited, and he didn't specifically say I couldn't go. Either way, I won't completely wreck the place."
"I guess it's worth a shot. The place isn't too far away, but I want to get there at a decent time. We should probably start getting ready," He replied, heading over to the closet, which we both, unfortunately, had to share.
I decided to give Edd some space while he got ready, so I sat down on the couch, looking out the window. The trees in front of the school still remained standing tall. The shorter one seemed to have a branch broken off, though. I frowned, wonder what might've happened to it. There hadn't really been much wind lately, so weather wouldn't have broken it.
"Hey Tord! Does this look okay?" Edd called from the other side of the room. Personally, I thought Edd looked good in pretty much anything. He just had that kind of look that made him look brilliant in just about any outfit. Not to mention his beautiful green eyes-
I snapped out of my daze, looking over at Edd. He was wearing a green hoodie, which had a can of coca cola on the front of it. There was literally nothing else on it. Just plain green with a random can of coca cola. It fit Edd pretty well.
I smiled and said, "Yep!"
"Alright! I'll wear this to the party then," Edd smiled back at me, "I painted the can of coca-cola on it myself."
I just kept smiling, before getting off the couch and heading over to the closet, "I'll just slip on a jacket or something. I don't think anyone will really notice me anyways," I said, pulling a random jacket out of the closet.
"Shouldn't you put more thought into what you wear?" Edd asked, wrinkling his nose a bit.
I shook my head, "Nope." I'd always just pick something random out of my closet whenever I got dressed, since it saved me a bit of time. Most of the time, I wouldn't even realize what I was wearing. I would just look down and say "Oh hey, I'm wearing my AC/DC shirt that doesn't even match my pants. Oh well," and I wouldn't even care.
Edd sighed, "You know, there are some girls that were talking about you. Wouldn't you want to look nice for them? They'll be at the party..."
"Eh, I'm tired of flirting with girls. I prefer guys," I said as I sat down on the couch, upside down. A plate dropped. I looked over at Edd, grinning, "Perfect comedic timing!"
"You're Bi?" He asked, his tone a mix between relief and curiosity.
"Yeah."
"O-Oh..Same here" Edd said nervously, blushing like an idiot. Well, an adorable idiot to be exact.
I was going to say something else, but I just generally felt odd and uncomfortable when talking about it. My parents had never supported these kinds of things, so I just never told them
"Well, let's get going. We still want to get there at a decent time, like you said," I interrupted, not wanting the conversation to get too awkward for me.
"Shouldn't you brush your hair? You've literally just been sitting on your bed in your pajamas playing with your dog all day," Edd frowned, his mood suddenly changing as he crossed his arms.
"Fine.. Mom..." I got off the couch, falling off in the process, since I'd still been sitting upside down. Scowling slightly, I got up, heading over to the bathroom. I picked up my brush and looked at myself in the mirror, sighing.
"I really need to stop being a screw-up.."

Originally this chapter was going to be a lot longer, but I decided to hold it off for the next chapter. I also didn't want it to wind up being too long and then completely outweighing all of the other chapters. Anyways, I might be able to get up a second chapter this week, (which was the one I was holding off) and something kinda big happens in the next two chapters, so it'll hopefully be worth it ;3
