Tord and I stayed at the ice-cream parlor for about an hour. We both didn't think much of it, and were just trying to enjoy ourselves. Tord told me more about himself, and how he loved inventing things. When I asked why he didn't go to another school so he could actually pursue his dream career, he sighed sadly.
"My mom is kind of forcing me to do all of this.. My mom originally said I could just do whatever I wanted, but my dad pushed her over the edge one day and now she's on his side," Tord smiled slightly, "But I never would've met you if I had done what I wanted."
"I didn't even know what I wanted to do... Personally, I do enjoy drawing, but my mom and dad both kind of..." I started, not wanting to finish my sentence.
"They were..?" Tord replied, urging me to go on.
I looked at the ground, nervously, "Actually, pretend I never said anything. It's not something I feel comfortable saying," I sighed. Tord looked at me with a concerned look on his face.
I got out of my chair, stretching a bit, "We should start heading back. We've literally been sitting and talking for an hour, and I need to take Ringo to the vet today. He fell off the bed and landed weird on his foot and I want to make sure he's okay."
Tord got up as well, a blank expression on his face, "Alright. I can go to the store and get some food then I guess."
We both headed over to the door. Tord walked ahead of me and held it open for me. I gave him a quick little smile as I walked past him.
My feet were whisked off the ground, along with the rest of my body. Startled, I looked up, trying to see who had grabbed me.
"Aw, Eddie, you look so scared," Tord said as I looked up at him, a frown on his face.
"Never call me that again," I replied, trying to be serious, but failing miserably.
"Only if you promise to never give me any stupid nicknames."
"I can't make any promises," I said, sticking my tongue out.
"Alright then, Eddie," Tord smiled, starting to walk off, still carrying me.
"Two can play at that game, my little Tordle~" I smiled as well, cuddling up against Tord slightly.

We arrived back home after a bit, and Tord headed off to the store. I had a bit before I had to leave for Ringo's appointment at the vet, so I sat down on my bed, gently stroking Ringo's head.
Ringo had always been there for me. He was like family to me, and I wish I'd had him when I was younger.
"You know, Ringo, you've helped me through so much... You're always there for me, and you always know when something's wrong," I sighed, smiling. Ringo meowed, resting his head on my leg.
My phone rang. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, looking at the caller ID.
Tom.
I declined the call, putting my phone away. Ringo meowed again, seemingly worried. I gently gave him a pat on the head.
"It's okay, Ringo. Let's just get you ready for the vet," I said, feeling my phone vibrate. Nervously, I pulled my phone out of my pocket again. Five texts from Tom. I didn't want to deal with this today. I just wanted Tord to think everything was alright. he didn't need to be in this mess, and I didn't want to look too suspicious today.
I dreaded Monday when I'd have to go back to school again.

I'm seriously just kind of freaking out because I always thought my writing was horrible and would only get around 50 views at most.
I can't even say how much I appreciate all of you guys who comment, vote, and read, because it always brightens my day and gives me some confidence. This sounds so cheesy, but I really do appreciate all of you
Anyways, I might not be able to post multiple chapters a week soon. I recently got a Ukulele and want to take lessons. On top of that, a few on my grades in school need my attention, and I'm trying to put school as my top priority, as well as trying to enjoy my hobbies.
I'm not leaving, just might be a bit more inactive. There still should be weekly chapters :3
