In the hollow of the tree,
I see things that just cannot be! Like...
Fairies, flitting all around,
and gnomes playing pranks on you and me!
Ondinas and mermaids swimming in the sea,
you see what I mean by "cannot be"?
But in the end,
their good friends, yes!
They might be tricky,
and they might be sticky,
but then...
Just WHY can't they be?
I see them, and I feel them,
I hear them and I smell them,
So why can't they be?
Humanity likes to reject the most magical things and creatures,
magic itself is real!
They reject.
"It's a myth!" They say, "a lie!"
Well how do THEY know? For we may not have magiC
but we do have magiK
and the creatures we see, they are free!
Oh why can't they be?
For here in the hollow of the tree,
I see most magical things that just HAVE to be!
