I've read stories where people were treated with equal respect
Women were treated right by men
And men were treated right by women
They would walk side by side
And work together
Helping the other where skills lacked
But now each side blames the other
For stupid shit that shouldn't matter
Men disrespect women
And women disrespect men
Thinking that men are these evil creatures
Each and every one of them
Mistreating them socially
And not giving them equal rights
If a woman is sexually harassed, of course it's right to help her
Defend her
Yell at the person doing that
They did something wrong
If a man is being sexually harassed
He's all alone
"He's a man
He should ALWAYS want it
So it's okay
Leave him alone"
I have no problem with feminism
But every time I meet an extreme one
They either brush men off
Or have some problem with them
I am not a feminist
I am a humanist
I stand for women
I stand for men
I stand for white lives, and black
And blue or purple
Yellow or green
I don't care!
Just humans in general
We all have problems and issues
And they are all real
We all need support
And respect
We can get along
Cooperate and work together
Accomplish that
And we are truly
And amazingly
Strong.
~Hey guys! Don't misunderstand, please. I'm not dissing women. I'm simply shedding light on a subject that doesn't get nearly as much attention as women's issues do. I hope I didn't offend anyone.~
