~A poem I wrote about Lark Camp.~
Lark Camp is starting!
Oh, how exciting it is!
I must prepare, I have to go pack EVERYTHING!
My sleeping bag, sleeping pad, I can't forget the tent!
Should I buy food? Should I pack food?
Get all my instruments and shove them in the truck!
It's a long, long journey there...
But boy will the wait be worth it!
I write in my seat and start with a beat.
When I get to Lark Camp I prepare my camp. I set up my tent, and my bed, and gooo to bed.
Next morning I skip off to class. Soooo many things to choose from...
Monkey chant sounds good, but Ensemble as well...
And let's not forget the improv class at the same time as the 10 other things that I LOVE!
During the week I run back and fourth, can't seem to settle for just one!
But then, it's all over, I must pack up my camp...
NO NO NO NO NO!!!
Why must this happen?!
I was about to settle!
But everyone's tired from non-stop fun for a week, 24 hours a day!
So really just settle down... Pack up, go home, and go to sleep.
You have 364 days to wait for the next Lark Camp, so lay back and relax.
