The Lorax, the Lorax
Oh, what did he say?
The Lorax, the Lorax
I can't seem to recall
Was it winter, summer?
Or mint chocolate chip?
...No classes, or dances
I miss that I know
My fancy tie-dyed dress
Only worn on special occasions
For its t-shirts and pants
The rest of the time
The dresses, the dresses
They're nice, yes they are
But I run up and down so
I fear with one I might trip and tumble down
The Lorax, the Lorax
Oh, what did he say?
Something dear, and important
I'm afraid I can't recall
The Lorax, the Lorax
Oh, what did he say?
Something about the trees
Perhaps about ourselves...
Does anyone remember, the quote oh so dear?
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
–Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
