Chapter 21 - The Sacrafic Is Taken

Ladybug P.O.V
That beam of light took out some of our strongest allies. I'm confident that Cat Noir, Volpina and I were strong but. Compared to the strength of the Fairy Tail mages and what we are up against. How could I ever be so foolish? Gajeel picked up Levy and carried her in his arms. I ran over next to him. Maya was laughing and summoned more people for us to fight. Gajeel glared at me.
"What do you want?" He asked voice full of venom in every word. Not sure why he was angry at me. I didn't do anything to upset him. Maybe he's taking out his anger of Levy saving him on me?
"Um, I wanted to check on Levy, and make sure that uh she's ok."
"She's fine. Go check on someone else maybe Erza or Gray."
A flicker of movement was in the corner of my eye I turned around and saw Wendy placed a hand on her head as if she had a head ache.

"Wendy!" I ran over to her. "You ok?"
"Yeah, fine. What happened? Why are Erza and Gray unconscious?" After I explained everything to her, her eyes widened. "I can heal them!" She shuffled towards the two and raised her hands above them working her magic.
"No Wendy." I told her sternly and pulled her away from them.
"Why?! I can help them!"
"Your low on magical energy. Like I said it's not just them got shot. You need to build up your magical energy so you can help all of them to the best of your ability."
"Ok. So what do I do now?"
"Guard them. Only use magic when necessary. I'll be close by so give me a shout if you need help, ok?"
"Ok!"

I ran back to Cat Noir and Volpina before I felt rumbling at my feet. The ground started to shake. I ran back to Wendy to protect her. I doubt I'll be able to but I have to try! I saw everyone else feeling the tremor, Wendy, Lucy, Juvia, Volpina and I extended our arms out to balance our selves. Wendy, Volpina and I fell over but the two kept standing. Happy and Cat Noir both fell over, while Pantherlily, Gajeel, Katrina and Katros stayed standing acting as if the ground moving violently didn't affect them. Who knows maybe it didn't.

Suddenly walls came shooting out of the floor! They went go up to the ceiling before they did I saw that we were separated into groups. Lucy, Juvia and Gajeel then the other group was Volpina, Cat Noir, Katrina and Katros. And the last group Wendy, Carla, Happy and I. The walls reached the ceiling when they did, they crumbled. I looked around but only saw my group in the throne room. What just happened? Where did everyone else go?

Even Erza and Gray who were right in front of us were missing!
"Monsieur Sol, take them to the cage!" Maya hysterically laughed when I felt something around my feet. I saw that Wendy, Happy and a suddenly conscious Carla were in the same situation. I looked down and saw that it was the Earth itself that trapped me. Like what happened to Cat Noir earlier. I was about to scream but the Earth curled around my mouth and muffled my scream the Earth covered my eyes which blinded me. I felt myself being dragged. I've never felt so vulnerable before. The pain in my side ached more. Then all I can or rather could see was my own conscious fading.

Katrina P.O.V
We started falling. I saw I was accompanied by my twin brother Carlos or now Katros, with Cat Noir and Volpina. My brother and I somersaulted and land perfectly on our feet. I looked up and saw I was about to be crushed by the two 'heroes'. I side-stepped and dragged along my twin. We both managed to had avoided being crushed by the two.

"What just happened?" Volpina asked. I mentally sighed. Was she blind or what? Did she really not see what happened. I unsheathed my sword and used it to write in the air. I did it so swiftly it was as if the writing appeared naturally. Only my brother knew about my speed. I always showed my speed as slow as possible to fool my enemies, only when the time was right will they see my true speed. I wrote in the air.

"Walls came out of the ground trapping us from everyone else. We changed positions it's likely that the other have as well." I explained and my twin nodded and spoke.
"Were you looking? It was pretty obvious what happened."
Volpina nervously laughed. "I saw what happened I just couldn't process it."
"Anyway. I got other lives spare and you three don't so we need to get out of here." Cat Noir grinned. Oh what did I deserve to be stuck here? At least Katros was here, otherwise I would had grown mad. I may appear calm but I was scared and confused. It's good that I had an outstanding poker face to keep my emotions hidden. Only Katros can see beyond my mask as I can only see past his.
