Chapter 22 - A Final Goodbye?

I didn't believe it, I finally had the sacrifice. After so long, and the moon was finally started to show. The mages and so called 'heroes' are captured. After once escaping I've captured it again. The preparations were set. The eclipse drew near. That annoying Mavis girl was captured. Now it was only a matter of time before I can start the ceremony. The virus though, it was still stuck in my head. I needed it removed swiftly before it completely takes over. If it does I'm not sure I'll be able to under go this ceremony.

The spell I did on Mavis and the twins of destruction, to bring them here took a lot out of me. The virus had control for a bit, but now I'm back. I'll pass this virus onto the current Ladybug or Mavis once I find out how. I can't believe the virus teleported that demon away. What was his name Jackal? But the fact that Zeref and Acnologia were still missing baffled me. They went to look for them but they couldn't sense their magical energy. In what they call 'Earthland' it made sense if they can't because there were so many magical welding people, but here there aren't. They should be able to sense them.

Where could they possibly be hiding? Could they already be here right now? In my lair? I heard that Mavis and Zeref was or rather is in a relationship. Maybe he came to help her! Whatever the reason, the unknown was a scary thing. Not knowing what's about to happen is scarier than knowing what is. That's why "Unknown" was my cover name.

But Hawkmoth and his akumatised victims were pitiful! So weak they were. I needed stronger troops. *Sigh*. I supposed if you want something done you have to do it yourself. I'm worried to start the ceremony without knowing the location of Zeref and Acnologia. Usually I'm not so uncertain, but they were important figures of history! They had power beyond imagination. Maybe I should place the virus upon them? Then they won't know what's right or wrong, then I can pull them to my side.

A clever and devious plan. But a stupid one as well. A familiar voice said in my head, I just couldn't remember where from. Great and now the virus messed up my memories.
