Chapter 29 - Return

Ladybug P.O.V
"Found what?" Jackal asked but Bella grinned.
"The spell silly!" Happy laughed. "I forgot how dumb you were."
"I'm not dumb!"
"Anyway." Lucy jokingly coughed. "We found the spell to open a portal, now all we need to do is perform it." We all stared at the shelf.
"That's strange." Happy said.
"Yeah, your right." Lucy nodded. I don't get it what's wrong?
"Why would you need materials? Don't you wizards just chant stuff then there's a spell?" Jackal asked.
"Usually yeah. I can't believe we need this stuff!" Lucy complained. I squinted my eyes and read out the list.
"A litre of pure water, 50g of stardust, a salamander's eye, 1kg of silver gold, 3kg of pink diamonds, packet of rosemary, tiger lilies, white lilies and crushed pollen from a fiore flower."
"What's with the crazy requirements?" Jackal asked. "What the heck is stardust anyway?"
"Forget stardust! What the heck is pure water?! How is there more than one type of water?!" Natsu whined. "And why a salamander's eye?!"
"Oh yeah, Natsu is known as the Salamander." Happy grinned.
"So we could just take your eye!" Jackal smirked and reached for Natsu's eye. Natsu swatted his hand away.
"Your the one who looks like an animal! How about we just take yours instead?" Natsu tried to get Jackal's eye and failed. They kept repeating the same thing, if this continued it could escalate badly.

"Have you ever used a spell with such requirements before?" I quickly asked, I did my best to distract Jackal and Natsu from each other but it looked like I was too late. It looked like they tried to rip each other's throats out.
"I can't remember ever doing a spell like this." Lucy replied.
"Strange." Cat Noir said. "How do you get this stuff anyway?"
"No idea. But would pure water count as fresh or salt water? Or in this world is there more types of water?" Lucy asked.
"Let's just split up and find these things." Bella said. "The quicker the better."
"Yeah." I replied.
"So who finds what?" Volpina asked. So far she's been silent during this while conversation. I wonder why, it was out of her character. "And how much will this all cost? Can we get everything?" Instantly Natsu and Jackal stopped fighting and stared.
"Don't tell me that we have to buy this stuff!" Jackal laughed. "Let's just steal it!"
"No way!" Bella said.
"Why not?"
"Because it's just plain wrong!"
"Fine, you lot can take years trying to find this stuff and NOT steal it. While I, the magnificent Jackal shall endeavor on a quest to wreck havoc."

We all stared at Jackal. That was unexpected. But he had a point. It'll take ages if we tried to save up for all this. So how do we get this stuff? There had to be a way.
"Open gate of the lion, Loke!" Lucy said her gold zodiac key in her hand. With a flash of light, Loke appeared.
"Hello Lucy, Bella, Volpina and Ladybug." He said. Strange, I can't remember him meeting Volpina...
"Why didn't you say hello to us!" Natsu said.
"Yeah! We're important too!" Happy cried.
"Oh, sorry I didn't see you there. Hello to you Happy." Loke said.
"Yay!"
"What about me?!" Natsu said and shooke Loke's shoulders.
"Oh sorry, who are you again?" Loke said and made everyone burst out laughter. Natsu, engulfed himself in flames said.
"The guy who is about to kick your butt!" He jumped up and attempted to make the threat come true by saying. "Fire Dragon King's Demolition-" Whatever more he was about to pull off was interrupted by a punch to the face by Loke.
"Oh I remember you now." He said. "Your the guy who always tries to defeat me, but I always manage to beat you. Fuyu right?"
"Natsu! Natsu! My name is Natsu! Not Fuyu!" (A/N: Fuyu means winter and Natsu means summer. So Loke is purposely calling Natsu the opposite of his name.)
"I'll do my best to remember that. Now Lucy why did you summon me? If you wanted to just enjoy my presence that's perfectly fine."

"No, I'm not that type of girl." Lucy said. "Would you be able to go back to the celestial world and get us some stardust?"
"Sure easy. The Celestial King can give me some if it's for you. What do you need it for anyway?" Loke asked. Lucy showed him the shelf with the spell for a portal. "I can get these gems easy as well. I can get them both right now if that's what you want."
"But isn't that too much? I don't want to be a celestial wizard just to take stuff from your world."
"It's fine. Consider it as a thank you gift."
"Thank you for what?"
"For always helping us spirits. Now I don't know how long it'll take me to get this stuff. It might not be long for me but a while for you. So hopefully by the time you get your stuff I'll be done. See you." He said and disappeared back to his realm. I wonder if that's fun doing that?
