Chapter 25 - Lucy vs Maya

Lucy P.O.V
"D-Death?" I shuttered. I looked over to Virgo, she was in a fighting stance. Oh, she's serious great. I'm one of the weakest members of the guild and I had to fight the boss of the person who abducted me to a different world. Great absolutely positively great. Note the sarcasm.

She started to walk over towards me. She took a step forward and I took one backwards. This kept going on. I eventually took out my whip, it lighted up in blue and yellow and crackled hard on the cold floor. Then she was 5 meters away, then suddenly she was in front my face and punched me! How did she do that so quickly?! While she jumped away I used the whip to grab her ankle and made her go high in the air and brought her crashing back down again. She was about to hit the ground before it vanished to a giant hole! That must be Virgo.

"Thanks Virgo." I said, I brought the whip back to me and let Maya fall to the bottom of the hole that Virgo made. I still couldn't hear a thump or crash.
"Virgo, how deep is that hole?" I asked.
"Deep enough princess." Virgo replied. "Punishment?"
"No." THUMP. There it was! I peeked down the hole but couldn't see anything. It was way to dark for my eye sight. I got the bottom of the whip and dropped it down the hole. It's light shined all way down. Which allowed me to see that there wasn't any dirt. It was just tiles I think. It eventually reached the bottom. My eyes widened.

"V-Virgo." I said. She walked up next time and saw the same thing.
"W-Where did she go?" I asked and looked around. We both walked away from the hole in case we accidentally fall down. Then one by one foot soldiers appeared in front of us.
"How?" Virgo asked herself. I asked myself the same thing. How were there soldiers summoned? Didn't she need Madam Vortex or Anne Ruve to summon them?! We were surrounded slowly being pushed backwards towards the hole. I took small steps backwards to buy time and tried to think of a way to get out of this situation. What should I do? My feet eventually reached the edge of the hole, I couldn't move further back. Was this the end? I then heard a voice. It was Maya's.

"Kill the spirit I only need the mage." She said. The soldiers made room in front of us like an aisle. Maya emerged and walked to us slowly. She was then right in front of me I could feel her breath on my face. I glared at her.
"Nobody threatens my friends." My glared hardened and she just laughed.
"Nobody is threaten the spirit I'm giving an order for it's future and my orders must be obeyed." Then a knife was about to go through my stomach. My eyes widened. My reaction time was too slow for what happened next.
"VIRGO!!!" I screamed. She was in front of me. She took the knife for me. She took the pain for me. Maya just smirked this was her plan. She used Virgo. How could she? She twisted the knife inside of Virgo then twisted it free. Virgo screamed, the pain must had been unbearable. Maya then pushed Virgo into the pit.
"VIRGO!!!!!!!!!" I screamed again. I reached down and tried to grab her hand to pull her back up but our fingers only passed each other's.
"VIRGO!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed again. No Virgo!
"Sorry princess I wasn't strong enough to stay." She said then went back to the celestial world. She wasn't dead thank goodness for that but, she was injured and hurt. Virgo always protected me and I allowed her to get hurt.

"You'll pay for that." I glared at her.
"Make me." She said then kicked me down the pit. I knew how deep it was so I should be fine.
"Open gate of the ram Aries!" I summoned and she was next to me falling.
"L-Lucy, V-Virgo wants you to know that she's fine, I'm sorry!" She said.
"It's ok, just summon some of your wool to stop our fall please."
"Ok." She said then summoned her wool. It fell down to the bottom of the pit piling higher and higher. When we reached it we bounced on it a few times.
"AAGH!!!" Aries screamed.
"Aries! What happened? What's wrong?!"
"There's something wrong with this place Miss Lucy. Please get out of here as soon as you can. I'm sorry!" She then disappeared back to the celestial world.

I used my whip and swung myself out of the pit and landed in front of Maya.
"Impressive." She said then fixed the hole. "Attack!" She said. The soldiers ran at me, I punched, kicked and swiped them but there were too many of them. Then something occurred to me. That should of when I first arrived.
"Where even are we?!" I shouted at her.
"Stuck frozen in my time space. To put it simply we are in the middle of time itself. Everyone else around us is frozen. When one of us dies the other will return back to the time where everyone else is fighting my army just before I took you here."
"H-How could you even to that!?" I shouted back at her and punched a few more soldiers. To get out of here I'll have to kill her.
"I strive to achieve the one magic. I have learnt many types of magic in the process. This is what the ceremony is for, if it's successful then I can have one magic and turn back time!"
"Your crazy!" I shouted at her but she laughed. I don't know how long I can do this for.
"Open gate of the scorpion, Scorpio!" I chanted and Scorpio appeared in front of me.
"Scorpio buy me some time!"
"Sure, wicked! Sand Buster!" He said while shooting sand from his tail thing.
