Churros!!!!!

This chapter is likely gonna be shorter then usual, sorry about that. It kills me to do this, believe me. But once I get to a juicy part then it will be the usual length.

Aaron POV

Aph and I were on our way back to that taco stand that Sylvanna had mentioned. I still thought that giant cupcake on the counter was odd... But, my thoughts were more so being pulled back to Katelyn and Travis' reaction to seeing my ears and tail. Katelyn looked scared of me. It made me feel like I wasn't me anymore, that I was some kind of monster.

Next thing I notice, were in front of the taco stand. Aph ordered herself something and a couple orders of churros. I ordered myself something, not really paying attention to what I ordered. Aph must have noticed because she looked at me with concern in her eyes. I smiled at her, trying to reassure her that I'm alright, she wasn't buying it though. We ate our tacos in silence. After we had finished our tacos Aph handed me a small paper bag of churros. She quickly grabbed one and started nomming on it.

I grabbed one. It didn't look like much, a sugary covered stick. Kinda reminded me of a mini donut. I took a bite of one and I thought it tasted so good. I ate my churros really fast, which made Aph giggle. I loved the sound of her laugh. It made me feel lighter, happier. I quickly wiped my hands together to get rid of the crumbs on my fingers, before winding one arm around Aphmau's waist. Pulling her closer to me before planting a kiss on the top of her head. I let her finish hers at her own speed, she gave me a couple bites too. Once we were done and walking back to the house, she asked "So, what did you think of churros?" "They were really good!!" She giggled at me then, I smiled at her as we walked hand in hand to the house.

We spent the rest of the night in the house. We talked to Garroth, Zane, Lucinda, and Kim about Travis and Katelyn showing up on the island. They agreed on how awkward things had been, we all agreed though that we couldn't blame Katelyn for being weary of werewolves. After what Ein and his goons had done to her younger brother.

After spending a couple hours with them we went to our room and went to bed for the night, we were now back to being able to sleep in the same bed again. And it felt nice to be able to do that. I had missed the cuddles over the year. The next morning we weren't in any rush to do anything. So we just spent the morning talking and cuddling. Aph kept touching my ears. She seems to love fluffy things.

End of chapter. Sorry again about it being short. The next couple will be like this. I really wanna get through the season, and begin writing the exciting bits before season 6 comes out!
