The Next Morning

Aaron POV

My body slowly came up through the layers of sleep. As my eyes opened and became accustomed to the early morning light three things would register in my brain.
One, Aphmau and I had made love last night.
Two, I was still naked and so was she.
Three, if either our friends, or my mom and sister walked in things would get awkward real quick!
Just then Aph moved in her sleep, cuddling more tightly to me. My gaze travels down to her head which was resting on my chest, but still tilted up so I could see her face. She is so beautiful. Even in sleep, even with her ruffled bed head. I love this woman more then I can even begin to fathom. My hand would go and gently touch her face. My thumb tracing a gentle circular pattern on her cheek. A smile tugging at her lips, which made my heart melt. Her arm tightened about my torso, which in turn pressed her breasts against the side of my body.
I'd chuckle once before brushing my lips up against her forehead. She'd smile and her one eye would open slightly.
"Good morning, Aaron."
"Good morning, babe."
Both my arms wrapped about her. Holding her tight to me. This had been the best sleep I had had in a long while. I didn't want the cuddles to end just yet. Despite the fact that we could be found in our state of undress by anyone at any moment.
My ear twitched as I focused my hearing to see if there was anyone lurking near by our room. After a moment of checking I'd be satisfied in the knowledge that we were in fact on our own so far. No one else in the house seemed to be stirring yet.

Aphmau POV

I'm laying in the same bed as Aaron.. And we're both naked. I sure hope Melissa doesn't walk in. We must not be at risk of getting caught or he would be telling me to get dressed.
"How'd you sleep Aph?"
"I slept really good, actually. And you, Aaron? Did you have any nightmares last night?"
He shook his head no once. I was glad. Seeing the pain he was in yesterday broke my heart. I hated that Ein was able to use MY voice to hurt Aaron. My stomach went into knots at the mental image of Aaron's face after his last nightmare.
"We should get up. We don't know when someone is going to try and charge in."
I'd sit up and look at him as I spoke those words. Once he nodded I pulled the blanket off my body and scooted to the the end of the bed. Grabbing for a bathrobe and pulling it on my naked body and quickly tying it shut.
"I'm going to go for a shower and get cleaned up."
Padding around the room I'd grab a change of clothes. He was doing much the same. Looking over at him waiting for a response, he'd nod at me.
"Alright, babe. I'll make us some breakfast while you get cleaned up."
After my shower I padded downstairs. Aaron was in front of the stove making omelettes. Melissa was sitting at the island counter and chatting away with him while he cooked.
"Well, hello there Aphmau!"
Her voice sounded far to excited, and I thought she looked at me as if she knew something. My I had to force myself to not blush.
"So, how was your night, lovebirds?"
Her gaze looked from me to him and back again. A sly grin tugging at her lips. I couldn't help it. My face turned beet red. I turned and walked out of the room. The trill of laughter followed me out.
"I'm looking forward to the nieces and nephews you two will give me!"

Aaron POV

"MELISSA?! Why are you trying to torment me and Aph?!"
Melissa grinned harder and began laughing again.
"Oh, you know me Aaron. I like to tease. Besides, I find your relationship with Aphmau adorable!"
"So that gives you the right to tease us mercilessly?"
"Think of it this way, this is my payback for acting as mail woman for you two over the last year!"
She'd gracefully hop off the stool and chuckled as she walked out of the kitchen. I'd shake my head at her and glare after her. After a few moments Aphmau came back into the room. Her cheeks weren't red anymore. But I could tell what she was thinking about.
"You okay Aph?"
"I'm fine. Just wish Melissa would stop teasing us so much."
I chuckled lightly as I knew pigs learning to fly was more likely to happen over Melissa stopping teasing us. I made a mental note to try and talk to her about the teasing. I don't mind when Aph blushes, but I'd rather be the one to make her blush.
"So, what shall we do today?"
Her sudden question brings me back from my mental conversation with myself. I know I have a lot of things to see with her, and it usually takes the whole summer to cover all of Starlight, but in all honesty, I'd just rather spend the morning milling about the house with her.
"Honestly, I don't have anything in particular that I wanted us to do this morning."
I'd shrug my shoulders lightly to help punctuate my response. She'd tap her finger against her chin as she thought of something for the two of us to do this morning.
"We could always watch some tv? Just to pass the time a bit till we figure out what we actually want to do?"
My nod was quick and I went back to finishing our food.
"You can pick what we watch. Go set it up on the tv and by the time you come back down I should be done with our food."
"Okay! I'll be right back Aaron!"
I'd watch her quickly retreat back out of the kitchen in the direction of the stairs. After a few more moments I'd carefully roll one omelette onto a plate for Aph, as well as some toast, and bacon. I then made a second omelette for myself and by the time I was done putting my food on a plate for myself she was back.
"It smells so good Aaron!"
I'd watch her quickly grab a piece of bacon and begin to nom on it.
