"Korosensei, how does this feel like summer vacation?" Nagisa asked.

"Teachers and students do not share a familiar relationship. And so, during summer vacation, there are times when students stray from the care of their teachers to a place where they must be independent and stand on their own two feet. It'll be okay. As long as you do what you've learned during your regular physical training sessions...yes, there's no need to fear any enemy. If it's you guys, I know you all can clear this. This assassination summer vacation." Korosensei said.

I didn't hear the rest of it though. I heard a whistle that caught my attention. It must have been some kind of dog whistle because no one else heard it. Maybe I'm hearing things because my brother and sister didn't seem to hear it. I walked down the hall by myself as quietly as I could so as not to be heard. I looked around a corner to see a man leaning against a window. I'm in the Lookout hallway. The man looked to be on the kill* side. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked back. It was Karma. He didn't seem hapoy about me wondering off by myself. He'a forgetting I'm a trained assassin and a werewolf. But then again, he's my boyfriend so I shouldn't be surprise.

I put a finger on my lips then pointed around the corner towards the man. The others whispered behind me.

"How boring-nu." The man said then broke the window with his bare hands.

This surprised all of us. Wow. Remind me not to get on his bad side.

"If I can hear your footsteps, I can't consider a single one of you as being formidable-nu." The man said.

Why does he keep doing that?  It's starting to get annoying.

"There was supposed to be a teacher from an elite force in command-nu, I thought. It seems you were done in by Smog's gas-nu. Did you fall short of defeating each other-nu? Come out." The man said.

We hesitated before doing so.

"You use 'nu' a lot, don't you, Old man?" Karma asked.

How did I know something like that would come out of his mouth?

"I heard that if you add 'nu' it gives your speech a samurai's tone. I thought it would sound cool so I tried it-nu. If not, that's fine too-nu. If I kill everyone here and use the 'nu', it won't be embarrassing-nu." The man before us said.

A foreigner. He has to be a foreigner.

"Bare hands? Is that your assassination tool?" Korosensei asked.

"There's actually a high demand for this-nu. It's a huge plus not being caught-nu during a body search. One I get close, I just break their cervical vertebrae. If I felt like it, I could crush their skull too." The man said. "But it's interesting-nu. The more I forge my powers for killing, the more I want to test it out on things other than assassinations. In other words, battle. A death match with a strong opponent. But, I'm disappointed-nu with this sad view in front of me, I lost my will to test out anything." He said grabbing his phone. "It's a pain in the a*s to kill even one runt. I'll call my boss and pal to kill you all-nu."

Karma smashed the guy's phone into the window with a pot with a small tree. The pot broke a little when it came in contact with the glass. This surprised the man.

"Hey, Old man-nu." Karma said. "For a pro, you seem like a pretty normal guy. If it's glass or a skull, I could break it too. But wait, the way you're so quick to call your buddies, are you afraid to go one-on-one with a middle school kid?" Karma asked with a smirk.

"Don't, that's reckless!" Karasuma shouted.

"Stop right there, Karasuma." Korosensei. "His chin is down."

I looked back at Karma. He's right. Karma usually had his chin up but now it's down. His defeat in the final exams must have changed him some. I smiled.

"Alright. I'll test it out-nu." The man said as he took his jacket off.

Karma brought the plant's pot down in an attempt to hit the man's, who calls himself Grip, head. Grip grabbed the pot and snapped it in half with his bare hand. Not surprising. He did say that was his assassination tool. But if he gets his hand on Karma that'll be the end of it.

"Weak. You should look for a better weapon-nu." Grip said.

"Don't need one." Karma said.

He tossed the tree aside as Grip charged after him. Karma began dodging and deflecting all of Grip's attacks. Everyone was surprised. That's Karasuma's defensive moves. But I don't remember Karasuma ever teaching him those. Maybe he visually learned them. That is possible.

"Wow! He evading and deflecting everything." Kayano said.

"Those are Karasuma's defensive techniques, aren't they?" Korosensei asked.

The two stopped.

"What's wrong? If you don't attack, you'll never be able to get past here-nu." Grip said.

"I wonder about that. The more I keep you busy, the easier everyone else can get past you." Karma said.

Grip said nothing.

"Don't worry. I won't do anything sneaky like that." Karma said cracking his knuckles. "I'll go on the offensive this time." Karma began hopping in place. "I want to fight you fair and square. Lets do this hand-to-hand, man-to-man." Karma said.

The two began fighting again. Karma gets around Grip. He's back is open and Karma goes for the attempt. He's stopped by Grip spraying in the face with that gas Smog used. I gasped. Grip picked Karma up by his face.

"One down." Grip said as he picked Karma up. "It was dragging out for a while, so I tried Smog's anesthesia gas-nu."

"Th-that's dirty. How can you call that it fair when you're hiding something like that?" Yoshida asked.

"I never said that I would only use my hands-nu. Don't over-obsess over your obsession. That's another secret you learn from being in this business lond enough-nu. A spray of gas from point-blank. Unless you're expecting it, there's no way you can defend against it." Grip said.

Karma suddenly sprayed Grip in the face with Smog's gas. Grip released Karma. Karma removed a piece of cloth from his nose and mouth.

"What a coincidence. We were thinking the same thing." Karma said.

Grip pulled out a knife and charged at Karma. Karma grabbed Grip's arm and took him down.

"Come on, Terasaka. Hurry up. We need duct tape and numbers to win against a monster like this." Karma said as he held Grip down the best he could alone.

"Alright, alright." Terasaka said with his eyes closed. "Your promise for a bare handed one-on-one was all Bs, huh?" Terasaka asked as a few of us, Ember, Cole, and me included, ran towards the two.

We all jumped on Grip to hold him down.

"Bukyah!" Grip said when we landed on him.

My boyfriend is full of surprises, isn't he?
