Chapter 49: Terasaka's Anger

"So hot." I said as I lay my head on my desk.

Summer days are fun but being in a building with no AC is no fun at all. Especially when you're a werewolf.

I look over at Cole who is sitting behind Ember. He's gotten along with everyone here. Especially with Karma. Him and Karma are best friends now. Cole isn't too happy about Asano being Ember's boyfriend but he understands and supports her.

"Nowadays, a classroom with no AC is h*ll." Mimura said.

"How undisciplined. It's a given that summer will be hot. We live in a humid subtropical climate, so we just have to tolerate it. By the way, after school, I will be making a run to the arctic." Korosensei said.

Heat fatigue.

"No fair." Ember said.

I lay my head on my desk trying to forget about the heat. But that's hard. Days like this, the pack goes to the falls to cool off. But that's only for us. Humans and others are not allowed. Mostly because the falls, as I had said before, is suppose to be a secret.

The only thing I really heard was Korosensei telling us all to change into our swimsuits and meet him at the stream on the other side of the mountain.

"So the other side of the mountain has a stream, huh?" Rinka Hayami asked.

"Sorta. Even if you call it a stream, it's about ankle-deep at best." Chiba said.

"Well, we'll be able to play around and splash water on each other, so it's a bit better than nothing." Isogai said.

"True." Cole said.

"So, Cole, why did your mission take so long?" I asked.

"I had to kill a gang of about fifty or more and opportunities didn't come easily. But after awhile the gang started to get cocky so opportunities just started come faster and faster." Cole said.

"Oh." Ember said.

We all continued down the mountain towards the stream. Korosensei stopped and so did we. He turned to face us.

"Now then, Everyone! I said it earlier, right?! That there are things you can't do, even with Mach 20 speed. One such thing is taking all of you to the pool. Unfortunately, it would take an entire day." Korosensei said.

"A day? You're exaggerating. It's a twenty minute walk to the main building's pool." Isogai said.

"And there's only about twenty-nine of us." I added.

"And Amber, Cole, and I can get there in a little under half that amount of time in our wolf forms." Ember continued.

"Hmm. Who said anything about going to the main building?" Korosensei asked with his tentacled arms crossed ovee his chest.

We pulled the bushes apart expecting to see the stream but instead we see a pool Korosensei had made for us. I gasped and we all ran to the pool and jumped in. Ember splash me with water. I looked over at Okajima who was snapping pictures. I rolled my eyes then splashed him with water.

"Ahhh!" He screamed and I busted out laughing.

We all looked at Korosensei. He was being over protective. Or as some may say, too fussy.

"Don't say such stuffy things, Korosensei. C'mon, get wet." Kurahashi said.

She tossed water at Korosensei and Korosensei shrieked. We all froze.

"

What was with that?" Cole asked.

Karma grabbed the bar of the lifeguard stand and began shaking it. I laughed and swam over there to help.

"Kyaaa. Karma, Amber, don't shake it! I'll fall in!" Korosensei yelled.

I laughed then pushed Karma into the water. I sat down as Karma resurfaced. I couldn't help but laugh. I looked over at Korosensei to him trying ro calm down. He looked at us and tried to act like he didn't just freak out.

"I mean, I just don't really feel like swimming and it's not like my tentacles get all bloated underwater and I can't move or anything." Korosensei said.

Someone grabbed my leg. I gasped when they pulled me into the water. I resurfaced to see a laughing Karma. I rolled my eyes then splashed him with water.

We all watched Yoshida and Korosensei talk about bikes. Something Yoshida loves. Korosensei even has a fake life-sized model of a bike. Terasaka walked in and didn't seem too happy that one of his friends was actually getting along with Korosensei. Terasaka kicked the model down destroying it and making Korosensei cry.

Everyone started yelling at him for making Korosensei cry. What is with that guy?

"Shut up with all your buzzing and droning. You like a bunch of bugs,-" Terasaka began as he walked to his desk and grabbed something. "-so how about I do some pest control?!" Terasaka through a bug killer can down and it busted open.

White smoke filled the room. Everyone screamed and yelled. Terasaka began to walk out of the room when te smoke cleared.

"Terasaka, even pranks have their limits..." Korosensei began putting his tentacled hand on Terasaka's shoulder.

"Don't f*cking touch me, Monster." Terasaka said swatting Korosensei's hand away.

Terasaka turned to us.

"It's sicking. Him and all of you, manipulated into acting all buddy-buddy with that monster." He said.

"So you're that disgusted, huh? If you don't like it, why not just kill him? This classroom has express permission to do that after all." Karma said.

He was leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets. He smirked while he spoke.

"What the h*ll, Karma? You wanna pick a fight with me? Fine. I've had a problem with you from the start..." Terasaka said.

Karma grabbed Terasaka by the face to shut him up. He still had the smirk on his face.

"That's no good at all, Terasaka. If you're going to fight, you have to shoot first and ask questions later." Karma said holding a finger to his lips.

"Kh! Hands off! This is bullsh*t!" Terasaka yelled swatting Karma's hand away and turning to see me.

I was looking up at him.

"What is your problem?" I asked.

Terasaka just stared at me. I could smell a familiar scent on Terasaka but couldn't remember whose.

"Get out of my way, Wolf girl." Terasaka said angrily as he pushed me aside.

He began walking away as Karma grabbed me and pulled me close to him. He stared at Terasaka with a angered expression but said nothing.

"I know that scent from somewhere. But where?" I mumbled to myself.

"Huh?" Karma asked.

"Nothing." I said.

Karma tightened his grip on me then looked back at the door where Terasaka had vanished. That boy needs help. We can help him, Korosensei can help him. But first he has to put aside his anger and hatred before anyone can help him. What will it take to do that?
