They both stood there, looking at each other in silence. Yoongi was the first one to break it, but his voice cracked when he tried to speak.
"S-so um, we should introduce ourselves. I'm Min Yoongi," he said and swallowed visibly.
"Park Jimin," was the fairy's short answer. Yoongi was amazed at how clear and powerful the voice sounded, coming from such a small creature. He gained some courage and took a few steps closer. Jimin flinched almost unnoticeably, but remained in his place. There was a minute of awkward silence. Or two, or five.

"Oh, um. Also I'm sorry for accidentally flicking you on the ground. I was on my way home and just pushing branches out of my way. When I heard a noise I almost got a heart attack thinking I killed a bird or something," he laughed dryly and looked at Jimin's face, but couldn't pin point his expression.
"It's ok. I was asleep and drunk enough not to feel anything," he smiled and Yoongi breathed in relief.
"Thank god you aren't hurt, I was really worried about that. Usually I wouldn't hurt a fly-" he thought for a moment and then continued, "actually no. I have hurt flies a few times but that's not the point..."

Jimin smiled again and Yoongi turned to him, "Speaking of flies, what are you Jimin?"

"Flies? Excuse me?" Jimin raised his eyebrows at the taller boy, who blinked and then realized that he messed up.
"Oh my god, no! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to compare you with insects it's just that.. Ah! I don't even know.. something about the wings? But I would never compare you to a fly! If I had to choose it would probably be a butterfly cause you're so damn gorgeous.." Yoongi shut himself when he realized he was rambling, which was weird. He usually never rambled.

Jimin chuckled and flew up to him, landing on a birch branch on Yoongi's eye level.
"Apology accepted," He chirped and smiled cutely which made his eyes form crescent moons. Yoongi smiled awkwardly and asked, more careful this time,
"No but seriously, if it's ok to ask, who are you?"
"If you're asking that, I assume you're human?" Jimin confirmed when Yoongi nodded in response.
"Okay then..." the fairy hummed and looked at Yoongi cheekily who stared at him with anticipation.

"I can't tell you..."

He watched as Yoongi's face filled with disappointment.
"Why?"
"Well, how do I know that you won't catch me and do something to me?" He innocently asked. Yoongi's head instantly filled with dirty thoughts, but he shook it as that sure wasn't what he meant. And he had a girl he liked.. but he still could not help himself and asked.
"Things like?"
"How would I know, give me to scientists? After all, I just met you," Jimin said, and Yoongi couldn't really say anything in response, as he understood Jimin's point of view.

"Ok then, um..." fiddling with his fingers Yoongi tried to somehow carry out this awkward conversation, which wasn't going well. Luckily, Jimin saved the tense atmosphere, kind of.
"Cat got your tongue?" The little creature smirked and poked his tongue through his cheek, enjoying the flustered boy in front of him. Yoongi cringed before muttering with a sour expression,
"Actually, a cat has actually got my tongue once, and it was extremely painful. So I really hope it won't happen again," he watched at the blonde boy in front of him exploded in laughter, "Enjoying peoples' sufferings?"

"I'm sorry, that was rude of me," Jimin answered through his giggles, wiping a tear, "How did a cat manage to scratch your mouth?" Yoongi shuddered at his memory.
"Well, I was at a party once. My parents were invited to some kind of event, employee meeting/celebration- whatever, not the point. And there was a cat in the mansion. I, being the cheeky seven year old that hated cats, put a slice of salami on my tongue and teased the cat.. so yea," he glanced at the struggling fairy, trying his hardest not to laugh out loud once again, "Cats always hated me for some reason, and well, the feeling's mutual. I hate them back,"

That's when Jimin lost it, he had to crouch on his knees, holding tightly onto the branch not to fall of. Seeing the boy in this state made Yoongi chuckle too. His laugh was incredibly contagious. After he has calmed down, Jimin looked straight into Yoongi's eyes full of confidence, slightly intimidating the latter and said,

"You are an interesting guy, Min Yoongi. I want to know more about you," and gave a side smirk, to which Yoongi refused to acknowledge that his heart skipped a beat.
