Cold wind slashed Yoongi's cheeks, a sign that autumn was creeping closer. The morning harsh rays grazed his paler than usual face, defining his sunken in features. This was it. The day of the execution. After a week of sitting in that grimy cell, they finally chose the day of the execution to be during the most fitting weather. Jimin was not heard from after that time. Gray clouds were flooding the once azure blue sky, covering the last bits of sunshine, his last happiness. Tall grass swayed violently, knocking over some citizens that were unlucky to be in their field of lashing.

However, it was refreshing. The blue haired was tranquil. He truly believed in Jimin, and knew that he would get out of this mess. He stood in front of a crowd of citizens, all ages, shapes and sizes. Whispering and angered complaints were thrown at him, but he didn't give in to them. Right beside him dauntingly was a stone platform with a massive axe that sent shivers down his spine. So, decapitation.. he thought. About this and other forms of execution he read in his history textbooks back in high school, but actually being minutes away from such a harsh death was unlike any other feeling.

He was beginning to get anxious - an announcement of the executor's entry had just been voiced, and god knew where Jimin was.
Would he really let him die like this?

A massive figure in a dark gray robe store towards him. His face covered with a mask, which infuriated Yoongi. He would at least like to know the face of his murderer, so that he could seek him out later as a ghost and haunt him till he dies. Cheers of the crowd pierced his ears, disrupting of plans he had for his afterlife. After a speech referring to his horrible crimes and something or other was said, (Yoongi wasn't really paying attention) he heard the heavy footsteps that made way to him. He was contemplating this earlier, but now he was sure. This executor bastard did this all on purpose, dragging out his agony of a wait. He glared at the mountainous beast, trying to find some eyes to stare into, but, as expected, did not.

A glint of the sharp metal blade in the air, the blue haired closed his eyes, awaiting the unavoidable.
However, the impact never came.

No pain, no blood. Only horrified gasps. Yoongi opened one eye and his jaw dropped.
"Taehyung?!"
His friend winked at him, smiling cheekily.
"Are you that guilty for rejecting me that you will just die? Shame on you hyung!" Yoongi spat a perplexed laugh.
"You are just unbelievable, you know that?" He accepted Tae's extended hand and stood up, looking around. "By the way, where's Jimin?"
"Oh, he's the one who took care of the executor. He should be back to help us escape." The chestnut-haired boy looked around, wary of the crowd, whose disapproving shouts were becoming out of hand.
"How did he exactly take care of the.." the older faltered, "Nevermind. I don't want to know."

"He told me that help should be on the way, oh! There it is!" Taehyung pointed at the air, where four fluttering fairies swiftly made way in their direction, and soon landed in front of them.
"Okay, quick introductions and we shall flee. I'm afraid someone might grab you before we escape," the tall dimpled one spoke, eyeing the impending guards from the distance. "I am Namjoon. This is my husband Seokjin," he gestured at the fairy with blonde hair and astonishing features, who greeted him and blew a kiss.
"Hoseok,"
The red haired shone a bright smile and waved, eyeing Taehyung, "I know Yoongi already. But you though, damn. Such a hot one-"
"Hobi, focus," Namjoon warned, ignoring 'rude' the latter spoke under his breath. "Lastly this is Jungkook." The boy nodded and that was it.

"Now do we wait for Jimin or?" Asked Seokjin, concerned.
"I-" Namjoon was about to answer but was interrupted by the guards.
"Hey you, all of you! Stay where you are, you are all under arrest!"
"Shit, no time! Quick! Grab them by the arms and follow my directions."
"Dibs on the cutie!" Hoseok raised his hand enthusiastically, and shrugged cheekily under the leader's glare.

Namjoon and Seokjin grabbed Yoongi securely by the armpits, lifting him in the air, Hoseok and Jungkook doing the same with Taehyung, and flew off. They manoeuvred in between branches and spiderwebs at an incredible speed, almost crashing into trees more than would be considered accidentally. Yoongi's worries were however occupied with Jimin. Would he find them with such a 'grand' escape plan? Where was he exactly? Also wasn't this Seokjin supposed to have his wings cut off?

"We should arrive at our destination shortly! Be wary, enemies might be anywhere still!" Namjoon's clear voice was heard even through the sound of the wind in their ears. After about fifteen more minutes of chasing away from the guards, they finally landed in the middle of a sunflower field in a neighbouring district, seemingly their hiding spot.

I am sorry. This update took so long :/ I'm feeling under the weather lately, with starting a new school year, my good friends leaving and just the amount of work that came crashing into me. Everything just came so suddenly and was very overwhelming. Now I'm beginning to settle and get used to things, hopefully the updates will be more regular. Hope you enjoyed the chapter! 💕
