Jimin's all cleaned up yet he's still fidgety, itchy, and, even worse, feeling extremely awkward as he sits on a stool in the kitchen with Jungkook's clothes hanging off of him.
Jungkook definitely notices as he places a plate of eggs and a water bottle in front of him, along with two pills.
"It'll help with the headache and... withdrawals."
Jimin glances up at him through his lashes, eyes more hard than intended as he mumbles, "What is it?"
Jungkook stares for a moment before responding hopefully. "Um... Aspirin?"
Jimin doesn't say anything for a moment, mood significantly decreasing.
"Don't you have anything stronger?" Is what he finally asks, not looking at Jungkook as he does so and the younger's eyes widen a bit, automatically thinking Jimin's asking for drugs.
"W-What do you mean?" Jungkook questions unsurely, frowning. "Like do I have drugs?"
Jimin's head snaps up instantly at that, eyes narrowed.
"That's not what I meant."
"Then what—"
"Do you have like Motrin or something?"
"Oh... uh no," Jungkook says apologetically. "Sorry."
Jimin just waves him off. "It's fine. Thanks."
Jungkook swallows tightly, nodding once before turning back to the kitchen to fetch his own plate and water.
"Oh... uh do you not like scrambled eggs anymore?" Jungkook asks after a moment of watching Jimin pick at his food.
Jimin doesn't look up at him as he drops the fork. "I'm just not hungry."
Honestly, he's starving. Mentally he's hungry too, just not for eggs.
He wants two things, Jungkook and hard drugs. Currently, in that order.
"I should go," he says before he does something he'll regret.
Jungkook frowns, eyebrows furrowed. "Hyung..."
Jimin sighs, closing his eyes to block out the sudden pain in his head. He finally looks at Jungkook and the younger looks so good that it hurts.
"What do you want from me Jungkook? Really? What do you want?" Jimin asks, truthfully curious to know, his eyes narrowed and voice raw.
Jungkook swallows, dropping his own fork. "I... I just want to help you."
Jimin's eyes harden. "Do I look helpless Jungkook? Do I look like I need fucking help?"
Jungkook's eyes widen and he shakes his hands in apology. "No! That's not what I mean!"
Jimin's glare doesn't soften, as he stands. "Then what— you know what I don't even care. Fuck this—"
"No hyung! I just— I just want to be your friend again," Jungkook follows him, hands reaching out for Jimin's own to stop him and Jimin once again can't find it in him to pull away.
He can't stop his eyes from welling up, nor his heart from beating.
"Hyung please... I miss you... I miss you so much."
Jimin breathes deeply, exhaling raggedly as he keeps his head turnt away.
"Jungkook... we can't be friends."
