The Orchid (Colby Brock)

"A little close." (Chapter 3.)

- Brie's POV -

I woke at 6.23 am which was unusual for me to do because yesterday Sam had to wake me. I got up and began to chose an outfit I wore

  It was a pretty basic outfit but it would do for today, as I was just going to be working. I creeped to the bathroom in our cabin and began to get changed. Just as I was pulling my shorts up wearing just my bralette and shorts Colby came into the bathroom. 

'Shittt.' Colby dragged the word out as he looked me up and down in awe. 

'Get out!' I screeched. I didn't need him staring it made me so uncomfortable. 

'You look hot.' He winked as he walked out. I could feel myself going red. I got ready fairly quick because it was clear Colby wanted to use the bathroom. As I was packing up my make up, Colby came in again. 'Ah dang it. You're not half naked still.' He said it so sarcastically 

'I mean I could rip my shirt off if you really wanted.' I said in a slightly snarky tone. 

He sighed 'The quiet ones are always the meanest.' He turned on the shower as he watched me pack up my stuff. 

'Ha you're funny.' I said sarcastically, turning to face him. He shrugged and began to take off his shirt. 'A little warning?' I said as I walked out of the bathroom hearing him laugh behind me. Boy, he was so hot if only I stayed in that bathroom a little longer

As Colby, Sam and I headed to the orchid. Sam suggested we go to the river after work. I loved swimming but I really didn't feel like going to the river especially not with these idiots. 

'Omg, yes I love the river.' Colby exclaimed. Great. I was going to have to go. I must have been pulling a sour face because Sam and Colby both were looking at me 

'You don't want to go?' Colby asked. I shook my head, he simply shrugged and continued to walk. But Sam was not going to let it go that easy. 

'Oh come on, pleaseee come?' He begged and begged and begged. I smirked and whispered to him 'If you can pick 20 pottles of berries today I'll go.' This was going to be funny Sam's face dropped he knew this was going to be a challenge. 'Fine' He smiled 

By the end of the day I had picked 25 pottles which wasn't bad. I walked to Sam's row to see he had 19 I couldn't help but laugh. Sam looked so disappointed. We gave our berries to the pick-up guy and waited for Colby who came trudging over. 

'How many?' Sam asked as his eyes skimmed over Colby's berries 

'21. You're coming to the river with us.' He nudged his finger into my chest. Well I guess I was going to the river. For fuck's sake. 

I wore my big orange tee over top of my bikini as we began to walk to the river both the boys were completely shirtless and I just couldn't stop myself from looking at Colby's perfect toned body. We headed down a grassy bank which I completely slipped down making me so embarrassed. Colby just starred at me not even laughing he was so judgemental. Where as Sam was pissing himself with laughter trying to help me up. 

As I was about to get into the water I felt a forceful shove as I went flying into the water. The icy water hit me like a thousand knifes. As my head rose for the water I saw Colby standing where I was with a smirk. What an ass. I swam toward the shore ready to get him back but Sam bet me to it. 

Before we knew it we were all in the water playing around I was as Colby was talking to me about eels being in the water which creeped me the fuck out when all of a sudden I felt something grab my ankle a blood curdling scream escaped my mouth as I practically jumped into Colby's arms. I was so focused on what had grabbed me that it wasn't until Sam rose from the water smiling that I noticed Colby's hand was on my ass. 

'Sorry.' I smiled 

'A little close?' Colby replied with a cheeky grin on his face.

'A little close.' I nodded Colby squeezed my ass once more before letting me go.  What the fuck just happened?
