'Backstabbing Bitch' (Chapter 10.)

- Brie's POV -

Monday was such a sluggish day, I barely picked anything it was cloudy and slightly rainy it kinda sucked. However today was a different day I was feeling really pumped and energised as I started to cover the faded bruise with green concealer Sam came in. 

'Morning.' He said through a yawn. I smiled at him through the mirror as I continued my makeup. Colby was still asleep, he had been sleeping so much he would be in a deep sleep by 9.00 pm and would wake up 10 minutes before we would have to leave. I finished off my makeup and decided to wear; 

As we started to pick I was feeling really motivated and was picking about double what I was yesterday, it was still so hot though I could feel my back burning all day even though I had applied sunscreen over and over.  By the time we had gotten off work my shoulders were bright red. Great. 

'Oh shit Brie your shoulders!' Sam said as he tried to hid his grin with his hand. I rolled my eyes. 

'I know Sam, no matter how much sunscreen I put on I still burn it's complete bullshit!' I laughed with the boys. 

After I had showered and gotten out of my work clothes I decided to text Kasey: 

Hey you doing anything, haven't seen you in ages 

I pretty much instantly got a reply 

'Of course you can't, you're such a backstabbing bitch.'

Ouch. I suddenly remembered the night of the party all over again. The reason I went off with Mason is because Kasey was screaming at Colby about something, but I couldn't remember what. I went to see what Colby was up too and see if he could tell me what happened that night. I didn't think I was that drunk but obviously I was wrong. 

I walked to the kitchen to see Colby cooking shirtless. I smiled at him as I walked in. 

'Hey, you want some?' He asked as he put a piece of bacon in his mouth. I scrunched my nose up. Bacon was disgusting to greasy for my liking. 

'Yeahh, no thanks. Hey what happened with Kasey at the party on Saturday?' He looked at me with a mouthful of bacon and a confused look across his face. I smiled he looked so cute. 'Yeah, I was that drunk I can't remember.' He smiled at me as he chewed.

'Welll.' He began his big story exaggerating it so much. Talking about how I was all over him which I wasn't at least I hope I wasn't. He said that everyone was dancing including us and that we kissed and she saw and that's when the argument started. 

'Well shit. I don't know how I'm going to get her to forgive me.' I chewed the tip of my thumb. Kasey was one of my only friends here apart from Sam and Colby. 

'Ah, you'll be fine. Kasey will get over it. Its just that Kasey usually gets every guy she wants and I'm guessing you know that she has and does try to get with me.' I rolled my eyes. I obviously knew that or else why would she be upset with me. 

'Yeah obviously Colby. Man sometimes I swear your as dumb as a fish.' I laughed as he gave me a what the hell? look.

'A fish?' He said 

'Yeah, a fish. A fish has a 5 second memory.' I said smiling showing my teeth.

'Man, guess I am a fish then, I mean it's not like I can remember the party on Saturday.' He shrugged his shoulders and grabbed another piece of bacon popping it in his mouth. 

'Hey! That doesn't count I was drunk!' I laughed out the words. 

'So what are you going to do about Kasey?' 

'I'm probably going to go over there talk things out hopefully she'll come round and forgive me.' I said as went to grab my white old skool vans.

'Right okay I'll catch you later then?' He asked

'Yeah I'll see you soon.' I grabbed the door handle and headed out. I hadn't been out and about alone since the Mason incident, I wasn't that scared or worried because I did see Mason at the orchid yesterday with a black eye and a bit of a purple nose. Colby really did hurt him bad. I tried not to care too much even though I felt a little bad. I knew I shouldn't care so I tried not to. 

 I walked along the dirt paths that lead to each cabin, kicking stones as I went. I was listening to my music full volume my phone was playing Kiwi by Harry Styles. Kasey's cabin was in eyesight so I began to speed up getting ready to take out my earphones when I felt a tight grip around my arm. I could tell whoever had hold of me was not playing around. I slowly turned around..
