Abbey (Chapter 81.)

I held my phone to my ear, he finally picked up.

"Oh are you sure you want to call me this time or is it just going to be another mistake!" He hissed at me through the phone.

"I was upset Colby." I whined back. Switching the phone to my other ear

"You were upset?!" He scoffed. "How do you think I feel seeing that on your wrist!"

This only angered me, what's it to him? He had no reason to be upset or angry if it wasn't affecting him.

"Oh how could it even upset you?!" I yelled at the phone. "What do you care?! Huh!?"

I heard Colby suck in a deep breath trying to calm himself down. I just waited for him to speak with one fist clenched by my side the other holding my phone up to my ear.

"Because Brie you mean a lot to me, more than a lot. Your probably the only girl that actually means anything to me. Knowing that I can't protect you all the time worries me even more now considering what you've done to yourself. Your beautiful Brie and I don't want you to hurt yourself. Not again."

"Oh yeah, Colby? So beautiful that you could fucking cheat on me and try to snake back in my life just to hurt me again by fucking one of Brennen's friends!?" I yelled before hanging up angrily wiping tears of my face and marching upstairs to get ready.

Colby's POV-

I pulled my phone away from my ear and tossed it on my bed walking out of my room.

"What the fuck just happened?" Corey asked his eyes wide. He probably heard me shouting. I scratched the back of my neck and sighed.

"Yeah I could ask the same thing." I headed down the stairs Corey following after me. "She thinks I fucked one of Brennen's friends?"

"Well it's a possibility." Corey said letting out a laugh, I shot him a glare.

"It's not a possibility." I said through gritted teeth. "Because A) Brennen doesn't have friends and B) If I was that close to winning Brie again why the fuck would I ruin it?"

"I mean you did ruin it once, you could easily do it again." Corey said as he shrugged grabbing orange juice from the fridge. I propped myself up on the kitchen island and rolled my eyes.

"It was an accident." I sighed. Corey raised his eyebrows at me as he poured himself a glass of juice.

"Right."

"Anyway what am I supposed to do now? I'm worried about her Corey." I mumbled dragging a hand through my hair.

"Then talk to her Colby, properly." Corey said looking me in the eyes. I let out a loud groan.

"I don't know how I'm supposed to talk to her if she won't believe me."

"Just try Colby. Your not helping the situation by complaining to me." Corey explained while putting the orange juice back in the fridge.

"Nah I cant yet she needs to cool off for a bit then I'll try speak to her." I let out a sigh. "Girls man they are so complicated."

"I'm sure they'd say the same thing about you." Corey said laughing, I gave a small smile in return but I couldn't help but feel worried. I mean if she could hurt herself once she could easily do it again, I gulped.

"Actually I might try call her now." I said before heading up the stairs while attempting to call her number.

Noah's POV-

I wanted to go home. All these people were being nice to me because my mum died, they didn't know how or why. They just knew she died.
Some people I didn't even know well would come up and give me hug while telling me it would all be okay. Almost everyone would look at me with a sad look in their face, I hated it.

Being babied because of a death it's something I hated with a passion, Brie knew that and she tried her best not to baby me but she couldn't help it.

I knew Brie was going through shit too, at first I didn't notice but slowly it's been getting more and more obvious. I just didn't know how to talk to her about it, I was hoping Colby would pull her together.

"Hey Noah." A blue haired girl named Abbey who I sometimes spoke to in history class stood smiling, I gave a small smile knowing I was about to be babied.

"Hey." I replied shifting my backpack into a more comfy position.

"Listen," She began, I was actually kind of surprised that she didn't say 'I'm so sorry' or 'everything will be alright.' "You haven't been in History lately but we have a group project and I was wondering if you'd be my partner."

My smile widen, she was acting totally normal and I loved it. She gave a small smirk at my grin, and brushed a piece of electric blue hair behind her ear which was covered in piercings.

"Yeah sure, we can meet after school in the library if you want." I said scratching the back of my neck realising maybe I was looking at Abbey for a bit too long.

"Sick." She said pushing down her black lil peep beanie but making sure it wasn't covering her brown eyebrows.

"Cool." I said as the bell began to ring, starting to walk backwards to my class "I'll see you then!"

Abbey gave a small nod as the hallway began to fill with students pushing and shoving to get to their classes, I turned around walking straight to my PE class. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and began to call Brie.

"Omg what do you want?!" Was the first thing I heard.

"Damn sis chill." I shot back kind of surprised at her tone.

"Oh sorry." Her voice was soft and calm again. "I thought you were Colby."

"Yikes. Trouble in paradise?" I heard a small laugh from the other end of the phone.

"Yeah something like that." She replied.

"Anyway." I continued as I passed people I saw the looks on their faces when they looked at me empathy some of the girls even pointed and whispered to their friends. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "I'm not going to be home after school and I don't know how long I'll be so just a heads up."

"Noah don't you think your taking too much on at the moment." She sighed I knew she was worried but I felt fine.

"Sis, I want too okay it's kinda with a really cool girl." I said quietly even though no one was paying much notice to what I was actually saying.

"Oo okay that's exciting is she nice?" Brie said happily through the phone.

"Yeah yeah real cool, anyway I'll talk to you when I get home." I said nearing the gym and locker rooms.

"Yeah okay, I got this open house anyway."

"Oh that's right tell me how it goes."

"Alright I see you later then."

"Okay love you bye."

"Love you too bye." Was the last thing she said before I hung up making my way into the locker rooms a smile on my face. Today wasn't going to be so bad after all.

Okayyy so this is tea kind of and also this book is going to be ending super soon so like 85 chapters? But there will be a sequel, I don't know how many chapters the sequel should have but I'll have some time to figure it out.
