Maddy's Pov-
I awoken by the devil itself, yes my alarm clock.
I got up, had a quick shower, got dressed and did my hair. I was never really much of a fan of makeup, so I decided not to bother and to just be myself. I remembered the necklace that Sherlock gave me yesterday and searched for it to find it still around my neck from when he put it there, I felt a sense of relief, I was surprised I hadn't lost it by now like I do with most things but just to be sure, I'm never taking it off, ever!
When I was eventually ready, I went to look at myself in my long, full length mirror.
"Well, this is as good as it's going to get!" I sighed.
I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to find John and Sherlock waiting for me at the table in the living room with some breakfast.
"Morning Maddy!" John said cheerfully in between sips of his steaming hot coffee.
"Morning." I yawned as I went to join them at the table.
"Good morning." Sherlock mumbled behind his paper.
"Morning Sherlock, anything interesting?" I asked, as I tucked my chair in.
"Mm, no not really." He said as he screwed up the paper and threw it aside.
"Well, it's not like I was going to read that or anything a Sherlock!" John complained.
"You don't need to, your helping me on that case anyway." Sherlock countered.
"Ohh, can't I just stay here and help with the case?" I asked in the hope that they had any mercy inside them that they wouldn't make me actually go.
"No, you need to go to school! It's important! Anyway your exams are coming up soon so your going to have to!" John told me.
"Seriously? So not only have I got to start a new school but now your telling me I've got exams soon too!" I complained.
"Yes." John simply said.
"Right Maddy, Mycroft has arranged a car to take you to school, it's waiting outside. You've got to go in a minute, I've estimated the time it should take you to get there with the London traffic in the morning and it should take around 30 minutes so you've got to leave soon or your going to be late." Sherlock stated.
"Ohh!!" I whined.
"It's going to be fine, trust me on this!" John reassured me.
"Well actually, lots could go wrong." Sherlock informed us.
John gave him a look as to say 'seriously!'.
"Oh thanks a lot Sherlock! You know how to make someone feel a lot better!" I exclaimed as I pushed my chair back and picked up my bag.
"I know." He replied.
"Well I'll see you later then!" I said to them as I turned around and started walking out of the flat.
"You'll be fine, just remember to be yourself!" John called.
"Well who else is she going to be?" Sherlock scoffed.
I jogged down the stairs and headed out the door, slamming it behind me.
Wow! Sherlock really wasn't kidding when he said that Mycroft had sent a car for me! Waiting outside the door, parked on the curb, was a black Rolls Royce! Although this particular car was beautiful it did take me back and remind me of the events that had occurred recently, as this was indeed the car the Moriarty took me away in.
The driver got out the minute he saw me standing there and opened the back door for me to get in. When I got in he then returned to his seat, started up the engine and pulled away from the curb.
