Maddy's Pov-

I had been here what felt like an eternity, it felt almost like time had stopped itself. Of course I didn't know how long exactly I'd been here, I wasn't really sure if I wanted to know to be honest.

I was kept in a small, dingy, rusty cell somewhere underground I'm guessing from the lack of light. There where no windows, no furniture, it was just an empty space in which I was contained.

I was surprised that so far nothing had actually happened to me although this only made me worry more about what Moriarty was planning and saving up for me, I'd wish he'd just get it over with so that Sherlock can find me and take me back home again.  Now I come to think of it, he can't. He wasn't allowed within a half a mile radius of me so how could be save me? Knowing him though he'd probably go ahead anyway and not take any notice of the order that had been put in place.

I wonder if Moriarty's been in contact with him yet and if he had then why hadn't Sherlock or someone come for me?

I couldn't stand not knowing what was going on in the outside world, I was kept in complete isolation and ignorance to it all. I just wanted to know!

I hadn't even seen the sight of Moriarty throughout the entire time I'd been here so far, what was he waiting for? The last time he took me I would hardly not see him, he would always come to see me and talk to me. I mean I didn't exactly miss that but this situation was beginning to concern me. Why hadn't he confronted me yet?

Across my time here I hadn't really seen anyone to be quite honest, there would only be one man I'd ever see and I didn't really even get to see him because it was so dark down here and with the addition of him wearing dark clothes it made it almost impossible to see him but I would always hear his light footsteps and see a rough outline of a silhouette, it was always the same man. He would bring me something small to eat and drink every evening, it wasn't much but it was keeping me from starving to death or dying of dehydration so I was thankful. Admittedly at first I refused to take it, I mean it could have been poisoned or something! I only lasted a few days though before I got so weak I could barely move so I gave in. i figured that i might as well of eaten the meal, and risked the potential poison it might have been put in, as I needed my strength and it would give me the best chance.

I relied on him as my life source, he was keeping me alive. I mean Moriarty had probably ordered him to give me the meal every night, I mean it must have been him allowing it because otherwise I would have died by now.

Everything was different tonight though because my life source had failed to show up, he always came around now and I had got used to it because he would usually wake me up, except this time I had awoken myself to find no him and no meal too.

The next thing I heard deeply unnerved me. It came from above wherever I was. It was the screams and cries of agony from a male. Along with this my ears also witnessed the sounds of thrashing and thumping. Someone was getting royally beaten. What was going on? Who was it? Was I next?

I tried to shut out the torturous soundtrack as best I could, it terrified me. I was in such a state right now. Then tension built up sky high inside me, I waited.

A few moments later I heard a door slam open near me. Two men started walking towards me through the shadows. I crawled to the back of my cell as they came closer, I realised that they were carrying something. My back pressed up against the icy wall as they came closer to me I noticed that it was not something that they were carrying but more someone. They opened up the empty cell next to me and tossed them in, they then slammed the door and walked away.

I crept over to the bars on the side of my cell separating myself from the person.

"Hello?" I whispered through the bars.
