Maddy's Pov-

We had been put in the back of a van, I could tell because of the large amount of space and it just had to be a van, I mean what else would it be?

I didn't know where Matt was, as I couldn't see, but I didn't want to call out for him and seem even weaker than I already was.

I rocked from side to side as I was driven around corners and bends until we eventually came to an abrupt stop.

The back doors of the van were opened up as I felt the cool breeze enter the van, which sent a shiver through my body. The cloth was ripped off my eyes. At first I was disorientated and had to take a few moments to squint before the bright light piercing my ores. After a few moments my vision finally focused to see Moriarty standing at the back of the van.

"Come one then." He gestured.

"And what if I don't go?" I enquired.

He nodded to his men and I was hit harshly over the side of my head with the cold barrel of a handgun. I felt the blood trickle down the side of my face.

I looked around the van for Matt, he was being held back, still handcuffed and blindfolded, with a gun pressed to the back of his neck forcing his head down.

"Fancy coming now?" He asked me.

I followed his orders and exited the van.

I expected Moriarty's workers to follow us but they didn't. He took ahold of the top of my arm and pulled me with him. We walked down the alleyway and took a left turn, we were at the St. Bart's hospital, what were we doing here for?

He dragged me in through a side door and we began to ascend up an everlasting amount of staircases. I tripped on a few steps as I miss judged my place.

"Don't fall now." He sniggered.

I mean seriously, I was so weak. I had no energy what so ever! I was also riddled with all kinds of injuries, not to mention the fact that my hands were still handcuffed behind my back so I was a little off balance and couldn't hold onto anything!

We eventually got to the top and there were no more stairs, he opened up the fire exit and pushed me through it.

Holy hell, we were on the roof! What a place to have a meeting!

He once again took ahold of me and walked me over to the edge.

"High isn't it?" He asked me.

"You could say that." I agreed.

He then took a seat on the edge, I stood beside him. I'd never really liked heights too much so I wasn't really coping too well but of course I tried to hide this from him, I couldn't let him see yet another weakness in me.

He then got out his phone and began to play some music.

The song he chose was 'Stayin' Alive' by the Bee Gees, it suited him.

"Seriously?" I asked him.

"What?" He defended.

It was only about a minute into the song, at the chorus, when I heard the fire door close. Someone else had joined us on the roof. I turned to see who it was.

My eyes lit up. It was Sherlock!

He looked at me with horror and sorrow, I of course expected our reunion to be happy but I must have looked in a right state, I'd been practically starved, kept in the darkness and beaten up so I must have looked pretty rough.

"Ah here we are at last- you and me and Madeline, Sherlock, and our problem- the final problem. Stayin' alive!" He dragged out then closed his phone, shutting off the music in the process.
