Sherlock's Pov-

Although Maddy seemed to be getting on fine at school I could tell that deep down, under her strong protective hysteria, that she was unhappy. Matt was the only friend she had, I know it wasn't exactly for long and the fact that he probably works for Moriarty but still she never made any other friends. I know how lonely it can get, before John all I had was a skull! I did learn something though, at least inanimate objects don't get on your nerves!

"JOHN!" I yelled from the living room, where I sat in my usual chair.

"What?" He shouted back from his room.

"Do you have to attempt to flirt so loud on the phone?" I asked.

"Yeah, hold on a moment." He mumbled, into the phone as he joined me in the living room. "I am not flirting Sherlock!" He replied.

"Hm, yes well your trying to." I smirked "Who's it this time?"

"Sarah." He told me.

"Ah right." I acknowledged and John walked away to continue his 'flirting' in the kitchen.

It was just moments later that I received a text from Lestrade, there had been another fire. The fires seemed to be acts of arson although he informed me that this time something was left behind.

After hearing this, I jumped straight up and walked into the kitchen. I walked over to John, where he was stood and he turned his back to me. I then proceeded with what I was going to do anyway and grabbed the phone off him.

"Yes hello Sarah, I'm afraid to inform you that John is busy right now, he'll attempt flirting some other time." I stated then hung up the phone before either Sarah or John could interrupt. I handed the phone back to John, where he stood looking a bit surprised or 'angry' as some might say about what I had done.

"What the HELL did you do that for?" He emphasised on the hell part of the statement.

"There's been another fire, Lestrade has summoned us." I informed him.

"Well you could have just told me instead of doing that!" He complained.

"Yes, well that was a lot quicker." I told him.

"We can't go out anyway, what about Maddy? She'll be finishing school soon." He reminded me.

"Ah yes, don't worry I'm sure she'll be fine. I'll text her to tell her where we're going and she can take Mycroft's car and meet us there." I stated.

"Fine, where is it?" He asked me.

"Oddly, Lauriston Gardens." I informed him.

"That's where we had our first case, a study in pink. Remember the blog post?" He questioned me.

"Yes I know, I think these fires are being directed straight at us. Although this isn't Moriarty's style." I told him.

"Well come on then, the crime scene isn't going to deduce itself!" He gestured to the door.

I strolled over to the door, grabbing my coat in the process. I slipped into my coat and wrapped my scarf around my neck as we set off in the cab. On the way to Lauriston Gardens I sent a text to Maddy telling her that she would have to take Mycroft's car, which would be waiting outside the school where it usually dropped her off, to meet us here. I, of course informed Mycroft of this so that he could arrange the car to be sent for her.

We spent a couple of hours at the scene of the crime, not much evidence was found although, as Lestrade informed me, there was something left behind. It was an address:
