Maddy's Pov-

Sherlock wouldn't stop bugging me all the way home about the boy but I wasn't going to say anything about it yet, I didn't want to jinx it.

When we arrived back at 221b we were greeted by no one other than our housekeeper, oh I mean 'landlady' although she basically is our housekeeper but I wouldn't dare call her that after Sherlock called her it last time and got a smack around the face. To be fair though I don't blame her, Sherlock can be very rude sometimes so generally that is how people react to him being, well him!

"Alright dear?" She said sweetly to me as she took my bag when we walked through the door.

"Yes thanks, it really wasn't that bad at school, well today wasn't but who knows what would arise in my future at school." I smiled at her.

"Oh look boys, Maddy's got that look!" She giggled.

"Do not!" I protested.

"Yeah, I know she does haha!" John joined in with the teasing.

"For God's sake can everyone stop obsessing that I've got a certain look today! I don't even know if he likes me back!" I let out. Gosh I've whatever this look is I've got to get rid of it fast otherwise they're never going to let it go.

"Ah hah! So there is a boy then!" John announced.

"Maybe, I don't know yet." I blushed and turned to look at Sherlock who was silent throughout that whole conversation. He looked worried with a hint of shock. He was also staring into deep space.

"Sherlock, are you alright?" I asked him.

He instantly snapped out of his trance.

"Me, ugh yeah I'm fine. I'll be upstairs." He stated then simply walked off up to the flat.

"John what's up with him? Has he been alright today?" I asked John to try to find out what was eating Sherlock.

"Well, he's been fine today although he's getting a little frustrated with this case because there isn't much to go on. To be honest I think it's because you are starting to like boys and grow up and he doesn't want you to especially since he missed your childhood." John explained.

"Oh right, I'm going to go and see him, will you give us a minute?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah that's fine. I'll just wait down here." He told me.

I left John still talking to Mrs Hudson and slowly walked up the stairs to join Sherlock, honestly I really didn't know what to say to him.

I walked into the flat to find him sitting in this chair, his hands in a steeple shape under his chin. He must have been thinking about the case or something.

"Um Sherlock, I think we need to talk." I interrupted his thoughts, he lowered his hands and gestured for me to sit opposite him.

"Go, on." He gestured.

"Right well there is no easy way for me to say this." Sherlock was looking worried now. "But, I know your upset about me. I know you hate the fact that you've missed my entire childhood and now I'm starting to like boys, I'm growing up and you haven't been there to witness it but it's about what happens now and in the future that matters." I explained.

"I can't seem to get anything past anyone anymore. Look, I know it's just that your growing up so fast and I wasn't there for it." He sighed.

"It doesn't matter, your here now and that's what matters. Can we just focus on now and the future and just leave the past behind?" I smiled.

"Yeah, but I'm still not too happy about this whole boy thing." He admitted.

"Fine! I'll put it off! I accepted.
