I STAYED at the island for two weeks. I'm coming back at the city today. Nakalabas na si Papa sa hospital sabi ni Mama, kaya makikipagkita ako dito ngayon. I want to ask her about what really happened to the firm.

I called Carol to confirm for a meet up for the favor she asks me. For the last two weeks, Greg never called me to bother. I enjoyed my vacation after all.

"Ma, tell me everything." I reach for her hand that is trembling.

"Your father's business partners played a trick that causes to loss some of his stocks in the company. That's the reason why some of the investors pulled out the investments. Your father tried to save the company but they force him to give up his position and elect new chairman and after that the investors bring their stock again." Her eyes is full of sadness

Napakuyom naman ang kamao ko dahil sa narinig. I assured her that I will help for my father's medication and Carlos tuitions fees. Tumangi ito nung una pero dahil sa pamimilit ko napa-oo ko na ito. We spent a day for shopping and make over. My Mama needs it. She's beautiful but that fades away because of the problem she faces right now. I want to bring back the mother who smiles so sweet and proud.

"Miss Margaux?" I look at the person who called my name. To her look I must say she's in her thirty's.

I smiled to her. "Yes?"

"I'm Vivian, Miss Carol's secretary. She's waiting at the restaurant."

She led the way to the restaurant. I didn't believed Carol when she said that she's an heiress but looking at the building I'm walking in she's ended an heirs.

The elevator was a transparent one, that's why I can see the opposite building actually, it was a connecting building. I can see the top of it with its name. "MMag"

The later told me that this tower is composed of twenty floors as for the MMag it has fifteen floors and Yes this building still owned by Carol's family.

We stop at 9th floor. It was a Japanese restaurant. I wander how many restaurant this Hotel has. Agad ko namang nakita si Carol na pwerteng naka upo lamang na tila may tinintingnan sa cellphone nito.

"Carol" tawag ko sa atensyon nito.

"Margaux! I missed you sissy!" She really shouted at the restaurant that some guess look at our way. How could this woman so hype. She kissed me not in the cheecks but in the lips. I give her a smack as a return.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine" I answered her.

"Are you sure? Is your dad okay?" may pag-alala sa boses nito na mababakas sa maamo nitong mukha.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko dito, I didn't told anyone about my Dad even Andrew "How--" she cut my words.

"I have my connections Mar, kaya alam ko ang tungkol sa Daddy mo at ang pag uwi mo dito" pahayag nya.

"He's okay now"

Tumago ito. Our orders arrived when she talked like she remembered something.

"Hey, you know what? I even ask my cousin to bring you here for the project that I'm saying. Sadly when he arrived at you place you're not there anymore." Pag-amin nito.

I just laugh when I saw her frowned. How could she act as a child in front of me like this? Tumabi ito sa sofa na inuupuan ko at sinubuan ako nang kung ano-ano. We are too comfortable to each other that we act like this. I was laughing so hard because of what she did, she just lick the corner of my mouth just to wipe some stain there.
