Nicole's POV

I was stressed to get out the door on time. Chelsea, my good friend, would lecture me if I was late to the party. I didn't even know why I was going. I didn't know anybody and I would much rather sit at home eating ramen. I was pulling on a black skirt and a blue tanktop when my phone buzzed.
Chelsea
Hurry up!
I scurried to collect my things. I combed my knotted hair into a ponytail and shoved my feet into black Vans before heading down the stairs in front of my apartment. As I bolted down the steps I stepped on my untied shoelaces before falling down the cement steps. I was falling backwards until I landed. But not on cement, on someone. I hurried to collect my fallen things and then looked up to see who I had fallen on.

"I am so sorry," I said as I looked up, only to be amazed by who it was.

"It's fine, my muscles caught you," Chris Evans said as he winked at me. I felt my cheeks go hot. I just tripped in front of Chris Evans and then I fell on him.      "I'm sorry," I repeated.

"Stop saying that, Chris probably liked it," Scarlett Johansson said after nudging him with her fist. Scarlett Johansson.

"I did not!" He replied. I giggled a bit and felt my cheeks turn back to a normal shade.

"Sorry to bother you, but I have to go," I said.

"She said sorry again," I hear Anthony Mackie say from behind Chris.

     "Sorry," I said.

"And again," He replied. I blushed again before starting to walk away.

"Hey, wait!" I hear Scarlett say as she runs over to me. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to a stupid party my friend wants me to go to," I said.

     "Too bad," She replied grinning.

"Wait, aren't you that girl from that night at the club?" Chris asked. Ugh. I didn't want him to remember that.

     "Yes," I replied quietly.

"Nicole? That's your name right?" Anthony asked. I nodded before turning my back and walking away. I felt Scarlett's hand clasp over my wrist.

"Hey, hold up," She said. "Since we actually know who you are and you're not an obnoxious fan, do you want to go to dinner with us?" She asked. "It would be nice to have another girl around," She said. It's funny, because if I wasn't so shy I would be asking for their autographs.

"Um, sure. I would love to," I said. I pulled out my phone and texted Chelsea to go to the party without me, I was having dinner with family. She texted back and ended the text with a sad face. Too bad I thought, I was going to dinner with famous people!

We all walked to the large black limo as I got in and Scarlett followed. Then, Chris crawled in and Anthony as well.

"I have never seen someone so unexcited to be in a limo," Chris said.

"My father...he used to really like limos...a lot. So wherever we went together as a family he would always make us do it in a limo," I replied truthfully. I only learned how to drive a normal car when I was 18 after bribing my dad to let me.

"So you come from a wealthy family?" Anthony asked. I nodded.

"So why did you say you needed money that night?" Chris asked.

"Because I do," I replied. Chris realized I didn't really want to talk about my past and so ended the subject as we pulled into a parking space by the diner, it was a pizzeria.

Cameras and flashes attacked us as we exited the limo. My eyes burned from all the light being thrown at us. Interviewers started asking questions and I covered my face before pushing through the large crowd people. Chris shoved me out of the crowd and into the pizzeria by grabbing my waist and carrying me inside. I blushed uncomfortably, he was so buff. He set me down at a table with a couch around it. They all scooted in and I was sitting between Scarlett and Chris. We sat and I could see people staring at us. This is so uncomfortable. I loved adventure, but getting attention was not my strong point. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and as the waitress approached our table and set the large tray down Anthony's phone buzzed. He pulled the black Samsung out of his pocket and checked the screen.
New message

it read.

"Sebastian's here," He said. Sebastian? Sebastian Stan? "I'll go get him," He said.

     "Lovely dooovey," Scarlett said.

"Shut up," He replied. "You go get him then,"

"Fine, come on Nicole" Lets go," She said.

     "Me?" I asked.

"Come on," She grabbed my hand and pulled me from seat. She weaved me through tables and booths before finally finding the front door. The two glass panes opened to Sebastian pushing through a crowd of fans and photographers shoving mics in his face. For a second our eyes met. They were so blue, like the ocean. My cheeks turned hot as he looked away. He pushed through the crowd and made his way towards us. Scarlett led him to our table and sat on the couch. I was now sitting next to Chris and Sebastian. We ate our pizza and laughed at eachothers jokes and comments. After we were done eating we staid sitting and talking. "So niicooole do you have a 'special someone'?" Scarlett asked.

"Um...no," I replied while blushing. I had never had someone ask that question. My last boyfriend was when I was a senior in high school. His name was Michael, he wasn't very popular. I wasn't very popular. I was the nerdy, geeky alone girl.

"Oooooo," She said winking at me.

"Neither does Sebastian," Chris said pointing at him. I didn't really understand why he said that for a few moments and then my face lit up red, just like before. Anthony nudged Chris and whispered something in his ear before his face lit up redder than mine. "I'm sorry," He said. I giggled a bit.

     "It's-"

"It's-" Sebastian and I started, interrupting each other. I didn't blush this time, I needed to cool my cheeks. "Haha sorry," He said. I smiled at him as Anthony scooted off of the couch, Chris followed and then Scarlett. I didn't notice they had moved until Sebastian grabbed my wrist and pulled me out through his side of the leather couch. I jumped at his touch but he didn't retract his hand. "Come on," He said. he pulled me out and then let go of my hand uncomfortably.

"Well, that was fun. But I probably need to be heading home now," I said. Chris and Anthony smiled at me before leaving and climbing into the limo. I waved and smiled at them as they left. "I'll have my friend come pick me up," I said.

"You sure?" I hear Sebastian ask. Scarlett was lowering herself into the limo after waving to me.

     "Yeah, it's fine," I lied.

"Okay," He said before smiling and leaving.

After a few minutes of them driving away I started walking home. It was going to be a long walk home. But, I couldn't text Chelsea, she was at a party. And I would feel bad asking Chris and everyone to take me home.

The long walk went late into the night and I pulled my arms around my chest to keep me warmer. Creepy people started walking out of the alley ways and I sped up. I started hearing whistles coming from old men I passed by. I should have worn different clothing.
