I woke up, frightened. My dream terrified the shit out of me. The thought of never meeting Sebastian left a lingering feeling of sadness. Not only did I not remember what had happened yesterday with Sebastian until I was making breakfast, but when I did remember my legs almost completely collapsed beneath me. It brought me pain to think about him, to think about Sebastian. I was past the crying stage, which was good. That stage always takes longer for me than anyone else. When I ran away from home when I was nineteen I cried for a few days. With college paid for I could withdraw the money and not even go to college. Which was fine with me, I didn't need college and I definitely didn't need my parents. I always told people that my parents were stubborn, rude, rich people who refused to help me with their loads of money. And they were rich, and stubborn, and rude, but if I asked they would probably lend me some money. But they would also want to see me. And since I didn't enjoy...I didn't enjoy their company that much I would rather never have to see them again. I loved them, of course I did. But, I needed space from them. For awhile. Maybe some day I would go back, it was inevitable that I would. But, not right now. My life was just getting started. I had a wonderful job and I wasn't tight for money anymore. Plus, I worked for Marvel. I got paid for coming up with makeup ideas and then applying them to celebrities.

After I ate breakfast my phone buzzed. I checked to see who had messaged me.

Sebastian

Nopenopenope. Not answering that text. Definitly not, I'm not going to even look at it. I had to do some grocery shopping so I pulled on some purple yoga pants and a white blouse that tightly fit my figure. My phone buzzed again, I ignored it, thinking it was Sebastian, and slipped on my Vans. I grabbed a taxi before realizing that the second message had come from Cynthia. She was asking me if I could come in today, she wanted to talk to me about something.

Sure, be there in 10 :) I texted back.

I asked the driver if he could turn around and go to the Marvel studio. He asked if I worked there. I smiled and replied. He dropped me right in front and I popped my head in through the passenger window and handed him some money. He smiled and nodded to say thank you and then drove off. I pushed through the many people standing in front of the door. Finally, I was walking up the many flights of stairs to the makeup department. Cynthia ushered me into the room and pulled me to her desk. She sat and pulled a chair over for me to sit in.

"Soooo aren't you going to ask me?" She said.

     "Ask you what?" I asked.

"About what happened last night?!" She practically yelled. She immediately covered he mouth with her hand as she realized how loud she had said that.

"What do you mean?" I asked laughing at her clumsiness.

"Don't you remember the party I went to last night?" She asked more quietly. I didn't, but I nodded anyways. I didn't especially want to be sitting her for an hour as she explained the party to me.

"So there was this guy there, Right? And I kept running into him there and he would smile at me. And then one time I literally ran into him. I was turning a corner and BAM, he was there. He was soooo hot. My God, Nikky I wish you were there. Ugh I wanted to cry, he was like a Greek God- I'm getting off topic," She said. "So we hung out all night and then when the party was ending he GAVE ME HIS PHONE NUMBER!" She said, practically peeing herself. I laughed.

"Good for you. I hope it works out," I said smiling. She smiled and pulled me into a hug where afterwards she fixed my hair and re positioned my shirt so that practically both my boobs were hanging out. "What are you doing?" I asked.
