Sebastian's POV
I fled out the door that had a green exit sign above it. The cool air hit me and it engulfed my body. It smelled unsweaty and untainted. I walked towards my black car, ready to leave Nicole here right now. I lowered myself into the vehicle and told the driver to take me home.
It was warmer inside to car and the leather seats seemed to be calling for me to rest my head against them and to fall asleep. But, I resisted. Surprisingly, there was traffic. We were stopped at a red light for awhile and my monotonous voice broke the silence.
"I've changed my mind," I told the driver.
"Sir? Where to then?" He asked. I didn't answer for a bit, leaving a heavy silence between us. I was regretting leaving Nicole at that club with that stranger.
"Turn around, head back to the club," I answered over the cars that were zipping past us. I felt the car turn and slowly pull to a stop.
"We have arrived Mr. Stan," The driver called back to me. I crawled out of the car and briskly shut the door behind me. I headed into the club, hiding my face behind my hand.
The club was just as packed as when I left. Sweaty bodies rubbing against eachother and the air stank of boos, vomit and cheap perfume. I shoved through crowds of people, searching for a cute brunette girl wearing the hottest green strapless dress ever. I tapped on many peoples shoulders, and as they would turn towards me I felt my happiness slowly drop. She wasn't here. Maybe she went home with that guy, Maybe she just went back to her apartment.
I made my way out of the club for the final time that night. Once again I lowered myself into the black car.
"Where to now Sir?" The driver asked.
"Nicole's apartment," I replied. He nodded as the car accelerated and shoved itself into traffic. I found myself drifting asleep in the back of the car, only to be awoken by the driver calling my name.
"Mr. Stan we have arrived," He said. I nodded awake and pushed myself out of the car. I wobbled to the steps of her apartment. I stopped, my hand raised by the door. Do I knock? Do I just leave her alone? Before I could decide I felt my hand reach forward and slam against the wooden door. I heard the knock echo around me and I waited, I waited for someone to answer. But, no one did. Maybe she wasn't home yet?
I sat on the cement steps and thought of what I would say to her.
I was drunk, I didn't mean to leave you there.
I thought you had taken a cab home.
I saw you go home with that guy.
I could lie, or I could tell her the truth. The truth was that I was jealous of that guy. He just came up to her, a random stranger, and kissed her. I wasn't brave enough to do that and now she was gone. I wouldn't never get another chance.
For awhile I debated whether I tell her the truth or not. I decided I would lie. I couldn't have feelings for just some girl I met at a nightclub.
"Maybe she's The One," Anthony's words echoed through my thoughts. Could she be The One? Was it possible? My brain was buzzing with thoughts all concerning Nicole. Suddenly I heard the click clack of heels on pavement and I turned to see Nicole approaching in her tight green dress. He face seemed stressed and tired, as well as super pissed off...
I stood and I saw her eyes widen as she saw me. Her pissed off expression was replaced by happiness. She was happy to see me?
"Sebastian?" She inquired.
