Sebastian's POV

I woke up on my back with my legs intertwined with Nicole's. Her head rested on my chest and she had her arm gently lieing against my abdomen. I stayed lieing there, happy and content, for a few minutes until Nicole awoke. She tilted her head up and met her eyes with mine.

     "I love you," I said.

"I love you more," She smiled.

"That's a lie and you know it,"

"No, really, I love you more," She replied stubbornly.

"Nope," Is all I answered with. We stayed lieing there for quite a while. Not moving, just cuddling. Finally, I heard Nicole's stomach growl loudly.

"I guess I'm hungry," She said. I laughed and slowly rolled out of the bed. The mattress sprung back to its original  shape that it had before I lied down on it as I stood. "I don't want to get up," Nicole whined. I rolled my eyes and started pulling on articles of clothing. My boxers, my blue jeans, a grey t-shirt and my black leather jacket. I stretched my arms and cracked my back as Nicole slowly waddled out of bed. She was still completely naked and I debated throwing her against the bed and screwing her once more. But, I resisted and let her slowly put clothes on.

She pulled bright pink underwear and light blue jean shorts. She clipped her black bra on and then pulled on a black tanktop over that. She grabbed her phone and then pulled me by my wrist out the door. I followed and ushered us into the elevator. We fell slowly and then came to a soothing stop on the breakfast floor. I followed her down the hallway as we entered a large room filled with so many different smells that I lost count. Bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, cereal. Jesus Christ it was a feast.

I grabbed a tray and started piling food on. A piece of buttered toast with jam. Scrambled eggs with cheese and some strawberries. Nicole grabbed an apple and a piece of toast.

"I guess you're less hungry than you expected," I said to her.

"No, this is actually more than I usually eat in the morning," She replied. I was astonished, she ate less than that every morning? How did she get through the day?

We sat at one of the last empty tables and slowly munched away at our plates. I ate faster than she did as well, leaving her with still half an apple after I finished everything.

After she finished eating we headed back up to the room so she could grab her jacket. It was a light blue over coat that didn't seem like it would keep her very warm. Then, we went up to Mrs. Bernard's room. We knocked but got no response. She pulled out her phone and typed away at it, hitting send to the caller I.D that read
Mum

We went back yo our room and sat on the balcony, waiting for her mother to reply. After a few moments of silence Nicole's phone buzzed and she rushed to see what her mother and replied with.

"She already went to the hospital," Nicole frowned.

We lowered ourselves into my car and I drove off towards the hospital, getting directions from Nicole. We arrived and headed for the waiting room. We sat in cold plastic chairs for fifteen minutes before a tall blonde nurse approached Nicole and told her how more than one person in the room at a time would be too much stimulation for her father. I could see Nicole's face start to turn red as a tear rolled down her cheek. I cradled her in a hug and let her quietly sob into my shoulder.

A few hours later Mrs. Bernard exited the hospital room that I supposed Nicole's father was sleeping in. We waited a few more hours until Mr. Bernard woke up and I sat in the waiting room with Nicole's mother. Nik went in to the hospital room and I immediately heard her sniffle her tears away and I imagined her wiping her eyes to make sure that he wouldn't see her crying. She spent two hours in there, I wasn't sure what was happening but I knew that Nik deserved that time.

We headed down town and went to a nice restaurant for lunch. I ordered the steak and Mrs. Bernard got the spaghetti. Nicole didn't order anything and she never even glanced twice at the delicious food being placed before us. She wasn't hungry, that or her emotions were so fucked up that her bodily functions were stunned.

After we ate we went back to the hotel and I felt my phone buzzing in my jean pocket. I pulled it out and answered.

     "Hello?" I asked.

"Hi, this is the agency and remember; we told you two days. Now it's time to come home," The voice from the other side of the call echoed.

"Just one more day?" I pleaded.

"Sorry Mr. Stan, it's time to come home now," I frowned and hung up angrily.

     "Who was that?" Nicole asked.

"I have to head home, the agency requires me back," I replied sadly. Her face dropped and she nodded.

"I guess we should get you packed up,"

We entered the hotel room and I packed my stuff. I could tell she wasn't angry but she was sad. She was devastated. Her father was dieing and now her boyfriend is leaving her here because of his job.

I was on the road by five in the afternoon. The sun blared down on my black car and I rolled up my windows and turned the AC on high.

I received a text and I pulled over to answer it.
Nik
Okay?

And I remembered; when I was younger I was teased because I read a romance novel. It was written by John Green and it was called...The Fault In Our Stars? It was centered around cancer patients, Augustus and Hazel. And their Always was Okay. So maybe Okay will be Nicole's and I's Always.
Me
Okay.
