I figured i'd apply more then my usual makeup since i guess it's a fancy party. I put on foundation, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, heavy mascara, eyeliner and some red lipstick.
Once I was satisfied with the outcome i strolled to my wardrobe to put on my dress. It was a dress that came to above my knees and it had a pretty pattern above the waist line, and to my fathers dismay, displayed my cleavage.
I was putting on my Dolce and Gabbana perfume when i heard my mum yelling for me to hurry up and to be down stairs within 5 minutes. I rolled my eyes and smirked. Before I walked downstairs I heard my phone buzz, straight away i grabbed my phone, It was a text message from my best friend Amy.

Amy and I have been best-friends since kindergarten. I adore her you know? its like were soul mates but in a non- romantic way. I turned my phone off and in order to try and prove a point to my parents, i stomped down the stairs.
We all got into the car and that's when my mum starting prepping my dad and I on what was going to happen today.
"Ok guys so, i know we don't get along with the Whitesides but we have to be on our best behaviour" my mum insisted.
"Mum? How can i dislike people I've never even met them!" I protested.
"It's a long story and you know your father and i don't exactly like them, end of conversation" my mum stated. I could sense the annoyance in her voice.
I was in my own little world when I heard my mum say were here.
I groaned as I slowly undid My seatbelt and got out of the car.
"Here we go." I sighed and thought to myself as we walked up the stairs.
