Chapter 10

**Jacobs POV**

You can try to convince me there's better feelings than waking up in your own comfy bed after being in hospital for what felt like a century, but you'll be unsuccessful. 

I was childishly snuggling my pillow when I heard my bedroom  door squeak open. My door has always cried each time it's opened, it's a defining noise. I glanced over to see who was at my door.

"Morning sweetie" a soft comforting voice said.

"I figured since you nearly killed yourself trying to make some pancakes that I would make some for you instead." My mum mocked as she walked into my bedroom with a stack of pancakes.

"Thanks mum." I spoke gratefully as I rolled my eyes.

"Honey your guitar is were you left it and here's your phone.I knew you'd be missing them. Make sure you get some fresh air though" my mum stated as she handed me my phone.

I thanked her and waited for her to leave before I eagerly turned my phone back on.

My phone basically blew up with messages when I turned it on.

"Jacob are you ok?"

"Thinking of you and your family"

"Jacob answer me soon I'm so worried"

But one message grabbed my attention more then any others.

From Emily
"Hey! Long time no talk? How's it going? (:"

Emily the girl I've been thinking none stop.

The girl that I don't know, but I'm so captivated by.

The girl I'd promised to message.

*To Emily*
"Hey, you probably have plans already but do you maybe want to hang out today?"

I felt like I desperately needed to talk to someone. Not to mention i wanted to see her.

Even if i sounded up front, i hope she wants to see me too.

I felt dizzy at the thought of seeing her.

**Emily's POV**

I woke up to the familiar sound of my phone vibrating, indicating that I received a text message.

*From Jacob*
"Hey do you maybe want to hang out today?"

 Jacob finally messaged me. And he wants to hang out. My heart skipped a beat.

Jacob invited me to park near his house. He texted me the location.

I quickly had a shower, got dressed and applied makeup then ran downstairs and made my dad drive me to the park.

I didn't want my dad to know I was with a boy so I said Amy was meeting me there

He was suspicious to why Amy and i were hanging out on the other side of town but he didn't press the matter.

It took about 20 minutes to get to the park.

When I got out of the car my nerves got the better of me.

My hands were sweating and i could feel my heart beating.

He made me feel so nervous and I don't know why.

But I liked it. It was a good kind of nervous.

I saw someone sitting on a swing and i immediately assumed it was Jacob.

"Jacob?!" I embarrassingly exclaimed and walked over to him.

I can't believe Im finally seeing him after all these hours I've spend obsessing over him.

We finally meet again.
