MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE SURPRISED FANS WITH IVORY STAN AS THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR UPCOMING NEW MOVIE
Another movie based on the Marvel Comics character is being brought to the big screen with Ivory Stan casted as Diamondback and/or Rachel Leighton. The crowds at the D23 Expo literally flipped in chaos the moment Stan stepped out of the curtain, recalling she is no stranger to the Marvel fans' circle anymore. Earlier today, MCU also released the first look of Stan's Diamondback poster.

According to Kevin Feige, Viper aka Madame Hydra is going to be the main villain in the movie – MCU have found a new face for Viper as well and she is the beautiful CW's the 100, Marie Avgeropoulos. Jamie Campbell-Bower was also chosen to portray Daniel Leighton, Rachel's brother.
While we have new faces adorning the movie, we will also have some old faces such as Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders all reprising their respective roles; Sam Wilson, Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Yes, sadly no Captain America, even though on the poster there's a glimpse of Captain America's figure. Winter Soldier or even Spider-Man will not be involved for this one as well, if you ever wonder.
In closing the segment, Feige also added that the movie will be released on October 23, 2019 and the filming process will start on January 2018. Can 2019 just arrived here soon enough?
